Project Description: Living room and Bathrooms
The owners were happy with the functionality and layout out of their existing space, they really just wanted an update. The entertainment unit was rebuilt with a new fireplace and recessed niche for the TV , A tiled hearth was extended to the length of the entire wall. The owners had new cabinets installed and finished the project themselves with paint.
The bar area too received only a slight modification with dividing the pass through with an backsplash.
New cabinets and countertops updated the look. The owners finished the backsplash themselves with wine corks they had saved from entertaining throughout the years.
Brown Bathroom
Called the brown bathroom for the large dark brown 3 piece acrylic tub unit that was removed and replaced with a new white tub and tiled tub surround for a contemporary look.
Radiant floor heating was installed , always a favourite for homeowners and on the must have list once you feel the warmth on your feet.
Manufactured vanity cabinet units were installed with a glass countertop. New wall scones were added to each side of the framed mirror to complete the look.
White Bathroom
The white bathroom was built a few years ago but had some nice style to it, a rotten shower prompted the owners to give the bathroom an update with a shower rebuild.
A few broken wall tiles were replaced, the floor was replaced with large format 24” x 24” tiles. The owners chose an eclectic blend of tiles for the shower and replaced the old mouldy aluminium framed shower door unit with a new solid glass frameless door.
A couple of pendent lights were added to the bathroom and the owners installed a mirrored bureau and wall art.
They also chose to add some vibrant colour when they finished off the bathroom by painting it themselves.
