Val is not only an amazing designer and a very skilled stager, she has the right approach to her business. You can feel her commitment to the client every step of the way! As a real estate agent I’ve worked with different stagers before. No one impressed me as much as Val. From her personal branding ideas, which she cleverly implements into her beautiful staging, to the full personal dedication she puts into her work, you can feel her passion in all she does! She’s impressed me with her positive attitude even under some difficult circumstances. She goes the extra mile and is willing to do what it takes because she keeps her client’s interests at heart. Overall, we are very satisfied with the work that Val and Revitalize Design did for us. We recently moved to our new home and were at a loss about how to design our open concept house. Specifically, we were looking for how to arrange our mid-century modern and contemporary furniture and what colors to paint our interior walls. We are pretty confident in our painting and other work skills, so all we were looking for was the design. Our initial meeting was for 2 hours. In that short period, Val and her assistant made several suggestions that made perfect sense, so we agreed to spend another 12 hours to design our entire open space. Within a few weeks, we received a multi-page design presentation with picks for wall treatments, furniture, lighting and ceiling fans. At first glance, we thought that we liked about half of the suggestions, but decided to let her ideas "marinate" for a few days. As we kept coming back to it, more and more began to make sense and we really began to understand the direction she was headed. It just took a while to get our minds wrapped around it. Bottom line, we ended up getting 90% of what she chose, and making some substitutions that we were more aligned with, but similar. Many of Val's choices were from Houzz.com, where she put us in touch with a client rep. Many of our purchases were discounted through this rep. Some of the things that we did not choose were because they were significantly over our budget. If there is anything to suggest as an improvement, I think we should have had a bit of a budget discussion prior to execution of the project. That being said, having a good understanding of her vibe, we felt we were able to make substitutions that worked for us. On the business side, Val put a spreadsheet online for us to monitor her progress and expenditures. It was a great way to stay on top of progress. We're constantly walking into our house and amazed by the look - feels like it should be in a magazine or something!

Val was exceptional to work with. Because of her work our home sold more than 20% above asking price. She exceeded our expectations. .

14 July 2021 This is a review from someone who never writes reviews. My vacant 2 bedroom condo in Bethesda, MD had been on the market for more than a year without a single offer. I wasn't sure that staging would make a difference but I decided to give it a try. A real estate broker / family friend had recommended Val Valdez at Revitalize Design. After speaking with Val she provided me with a written quote as requested. Soon a contract was signed. All of the work was performed exactly according to schedule and without any problems. When the staging was completed the apartment suddenly became extremely attractive and inviting. A few weeks later, offers appeared and the condo was quickly sold. After countless trips to the paint store to buy samples I finally realized that I was not qualified to select my own paint color. When it was time to reach out to a professional I had no regrets working with Revitalize Design by Val Valdez. Val was super responsive, smart and professional. She not only helped with paint selection she recommended furniture configuration changes, lighting changes and other décor items to amp up the volume when it came to my re-decorating project. I worked with painters and electricians recommended by her and both teams were as outstanding as she is. 100 % recommendation on Val Valdez without hesitation.

Val does beautiful work! She is personable, fun and works well with her clients. As a photographer, I have been able to shoot numerous projects for her and I love her bold use of color. Never overwhelming, it adds just the right punch to a room. Val is also able to convert design flaws into features. For example, when she was faced with bulkheads in a basement, she used them to delineate space as well as an opportunity for special lighting.

After 15-years, our home needed a fresh, modern look. We chose Val and Revitalize Design to guide our modernization efforts. She met with us, discussed our tastes and vision and developed a plan of action. She connected us with local contractors and product vendors such as Houzz to procure services, lighting, pictures, and rugs. We especially liked Val's flexible design process where she proposed options and we finalized design features as the work progressed. This made it much easier for us to modify pieces of work as it progressed without incurring additional costs. We highly recommend Val and Revitalize Design.

Val was very Instrumental in helping us sell our home this winter. We had our home on the market since Nov and our realtor introduced us to Val in Jan because we were getting a lot of potential buyers viewing the home but no offers. Val came did an assessment advised what changes were needed and went into action sending painters and getting granite for the kitchen counters after all was done we had an offer & buyer for the home within 4 days We are also recently hired her to help us with design our new home in Aldie VA I’ve recommended her to several friends.

We hired Val Valdez (Revitalize Design), to create and execute a design for our open concept living area (FR, DR, Kit, Brkfast rm) in our new construction home as well as for our master bedroom/bath and our entry foyer. Ms. Valdez made the selection of paint, wallpaper, lighting, trim work, furniture and accessories so easy for us. Throughout the project she was a true professional and we continued to be impressed with her advice and design ideas. We found out early on that we were in excellent hands. Our project is now near completion and we are thrilled with the results.
