Tampa Landscape Design

We had a challenging project, since we wanted our one acre lot to retain its natural, forested look, and yet define several mixed use areas and views with the right plantings and hardscapes. Lauren developed a beautiful plan, using mostly native plants. Her attention to detail, her deep knowledge of Florida plants and environments, and her ability to work easily with us made the project successful and enjoyable.

We had a very good experience with Tampa Landscape Design. They developed a comprehensive design for the entire property including new plants, repositioning existing plants, a fountain, round brick patio and major sprinkler system upgrade. The owner was onsite throughout the entire process and worked closely with the plant suppliers and ground crew to insure that the design was followed very closely. In the months after completion it was evident that the nursery supplied a few incorrect plant species and Tampa Landscape made sure they were replaced without hassle or additional cost. Lauren is great! She listened to our needs and developed a long term plan for our South Tampa yard. Our yard has many challenges but she met those challenges, she is also quite wise when it comes to Florida plantings, water saving ideas, and very eco conscious. Just as we were ready to begin phase one of our plan my husband was offered a job in Japan so we rented out our house and are living in Japan for the next 3 to 5 years. BUT I know Lauren will be there when we get back and we will be able to pick up where we left off and make our yard into the dream we have always desired.

We hired Tampa Landscape Design and was extremely pleased from the start to finish. Lauren listened to our ideas and within 14 days she had a design that was perfect for our two story Mediterranean home. We did not have any idea what the thought process was when designing landscaping. But we knew we needed a professional. She directed us in every detail. Plants were set to the exact measure. Beautiful palms were added along with the appropriate grass, a walkway with stone and exterior lights. She handled the inventory which amounted to over 300 plants, worked with the crew diligently "in spanish as needed" which was impressive. I hired the company for a landscape design after a long creative discussion. The conversation included timing and details of the installation. In my opinion, this is a very creative process and with that, the designer would be involved with the "painting of the canvas". This is why I hired this company. Only after paying in full for the design and discussing a few questions was I told that they were unable to do the job. The reasons for not being able to do the job is that they were booked too far out (a couple of months) and that the install crew did not want to come out to where I live.
