Duncan's techs found the time to respond to our emergency within four hours despite having the day fully booked. As always they were courteous and fixed the problem (burst hot water pipe) with dispatch. We have used Duncan Plumbing numerous times over the years and have never had a problem of any kind. Called Duncan for a broken gas line, They sent out Technician Eric. Eric was there in 1.5 hours after calling. Eric was professional in every way. The repair was completed super quick as well. I would highly recommend a family oriented professional organization such as Duncan.

I called Duncan Plumbing on a Friday evening because I had a pipe leaking under my house that had flooded under my house. Nui and his crew arrived promptly and went under the house despite the high water in a shallow crawl space. They replaced the leaking pipe. They returned a couple weeks later to replace all the old corroded galvanized pipes under my house, in the walls of my garage, to my kitchen sink and out to the outside of my house. They also raised my water heater to code height and added a p-trap to the pipes going to my washing machine. They did a great job. They completed the projects promptly and were very courteous. The office also kept in contact with me to make sure I was happy with the work. I highly recommend Duncan Plumbing for any plumbing needs.

Great service!!! Felt safe!!! So extremely pleased with the expediency of service by Jorge at Duncan Plumbing Santa Cruz. He arrived on time (actually early after getting a call to see if that was ok) for pricing consult/quote of a non-emergent water heater exchange, along with new connections, etc. While the price quote was not the cheapest compared to the others I'd already gotten, it was more inclusive of all the necessary work & needs. Jorge knew all the current rules/regulation entailed. He was also available to do the full project right away. I felt safe in his knowledge, capabilities, & space. So yay. Project done & no potential future worries about my water heater. So, grand thanks to Jorge. Also, must say that all prior phone/online contacts were very pleasant setting up my appointment. I've used just about every plumber in Santa Cruz and Duncan ranks among the top in terms of quality of work and breadth of expertise. Most recently we've experience some problems with our aging radiant heating system. As far as I can tell, Duncan (aka, California Radiant) is one of only 2 local radiant repair services. Eric is the radiant specialist and he's performed work on my radiant heating system several times in the past year. He is always efficient in identifying the problems, fair and transparent in his proposed solutions, clean, respectful and always very upbeat and pleasant to be around. He really understands radiant systems. He gets my highest recommendation when I say I totally trust his judgement and work. The only negative, is that there's only one Eric to go around and it can take a while to get an appointment with him.

Duncan Plumbing has our highest recommendation. When we bought our old Santa Cruz house, Duncan correctly diagnosed a failing plumbing system that required a replacement of the lateral sewer line to the street. This involved digging thru established landscaping and hooking in to a crumbling city sewer line. It could have been a nightmare, but the work was carried out as planned, in the planned time frame, on budget, and with no damage to the landscaping. Since then, Enrique has handled all of our plumbing work, from bathroom remodel and water filtration installation to water heater adjustment and toilet resetting. He is able to troubleshoot complicated systems, offer multiple remedies, and do beautiful finish work. He and his staff are prompt, pleasant, and easy to work with. You can't do better than Duncan.

To Whom It May Concern, I had massive drain clogs (of extremely stubborn grease) in my plumbing pipes, leading to my septic tank. I had standing water (and human waste) in all of my toilets, and neither my showers nor my sinks would drain properly. So, I called an experienced local plumber (with great online reviews) to help me deal with the situation. However, this (first) plumber was not up to the challenge. (He was unable to resolve the situation, and he misdiagnosed the problem.) Then, I called Duncan Plumbing. Enrique, at Duncan Plumbing, came to my home the very same day that I called to schedule an appointment. In fact, he was at my home (in Bonny Doon) within two hours of my call. It was pouring rain (and hailing) outside, with frigid temperatures. Nevertheless, Enrique got to work right away. He examined the layout of the plumbing pipes in the crawl-space under my home. He removed the covers off of my septic tank risers and examined the capacity, flow-rate and layout of my septic tank. He also evaluated other critical elements, related to my plumbing problems. Then, he provided me with a fair price quote to resolve the situation -- with a number of different options (based on alternative approaches). Enrique worked from 1:30pm to 6:30pm, non-stop -- and, during this process, Enrique demonstrated himself to be highly experienced, and an expert problem-solver (quickly and easily dealing with new issues and challenges as they came along). Although it was an incredibly challenging job, Enrique completed all of the work in one day -- removing all of the clogs in my pipes -- fully restoring my plumbing to perfect working condition. Enrique was kind, courteous and professional -- and he cleaned-up all of the mess that was made during the process or clearing the pipes, and getting my bathrooms back into working order. If and when I experience plumbing problems in the future, my first call will always be to Enrique at Duncan Plumbing. This was my first experience with Duncan Plumbing and I have to say I'm really impressed. It was super easy and quick to set up an appointment, and the service was outstanding. We have an on-demand water heater that needed to be serviced and Enrique knew exactly what he was doing, and pleasantly answered all my questions. I will definitely call again when we need help.
