Our Tarzana home still had much of its original copper plumbing, and several small leaks had developed around the fixture connections. The plumbing also had several older repairs from different years, making the system difficult to track. The Repipe1 plumbing team replaced about 340 feet of copper supply piping throughout the home. The new lines serve four bathrooms, the kitchen, laundry room, garage sink, and exterior hose bibs. They replaced the older shutoff valves and cleaned up several branch connections during the installation. The new system has a much more organized layout, and the water pressure is consistent from the front bathroom to the backyard fixtures.

A sewer camera inspection showed why the cleanout kept filling with water. The line had a section with a cracked joint and sediment buildup around the damaged area. They accessed the affected section, replaced the damaged pipe, and inspected the remaining line toward the street. They also tested several drains inside the home before wrapping up. The repair was limited to the section that needed attention, and the sewer has been flowing normally since. The camera footage also gave us a clear record of the rest of the line's condition.

Four bathrooms, a kitchen, laundry room, garage utility sink, and several outdoor fixtures made this a sizeable repipe for our Tarzana home. The property also has two separate additions, so the plumbing runs through several parts of the home. Repipe1 divided the installation into phases. The crew replaced the main supply lines first, then worked through each bathroom and fixture group. They installed new branch lines, shutoff valves, and fixture connections as each section came online. The crew kept water available in the areas we weren’t using for the day, which made living through the project much easier. By the final walkthrough, every fixture was connected to the new copper system, and the pressure was consistent throughout the home.
