Elysian Construction

As is likely with any construction project involving insurance money, there was the typical back and forth to get the project scoped and scheduled that was frustrating at the onset. However, once we were officially on the books, the crew that came out was really great and the project was completed on time! One year later, we sold our house and the buyer's inspectors noted some concerns on the work that was completed on the roof. We contacted Elysian who assured us that the work was covered under a 10 year warranty but that it would take a number of weeks to get someone out to check out the concerns due to it being summer/high season. Whilst in discussions with the corporate office - Chuck Stuurop (one of their field specialists) took it upon himself to make a special trip out to not only confirm it was a minor misunderstanding and not an issue with the roof (a few of the adhesive plastic strips weren't fully removed when the shingles were installed), but also to check out our neighbor's roof (that was done around the same time) to ensure that no issues existed for them either. It was SO GREAT and SO APPRECIATED to have Chuck help us at such a stressful/time sensitive time (pending house sale) - it meant the world to us to have the human side come through vs the corporate hedging you often find with warranty situations. THANK YOU SO MUCH CHUCK - YOU ARE AMAZING!!!

This company is the absolute worst nightmare anyone could ever possibly conceive. Imagine your worst bad contractor experience then multiply it by infinity.

I'm changing this review to a generous one star. After 2 weeks of me calling and emailing them they finally responded to our roof leak that was causing damage. The roof that 3 years earlier was replaced by Elysian. They have an emergency number that they don't respond to. They only contacted me after I gave them a bad review. They did eventually come and fix their shotty and negligent roof replacement but this time they damaged our gutters and siding while they are fixing their original work. We had already filed a claim with our home owners insurance and they sent their adjuster and their inspector to assess the damage and what caused it. The inspector found them to be at fault due to negligence. They failed to replace the L flashing correctly around the chimney. I knew that our insurance company was going to send our claim to their subrogation department so they could be go after Elysian for reimbursement. They are also including our $1000.00 deductible. The subrogation department has left numerous messages requesting Elysians insurance company information so they can file a claim. Their messages have been ignored. This horrible company won't do the right thing and give our insurance company their insurance information or simply just give us our deductible back. They would NOT have pulled a crew off of another job to fix our roof if they weren't at fault. They also wanted us to let them repaint the downstairs walls and ceiling for free. We declined because we needed to have two walks and the ceiling cut into to see if there was any other damage. We also needed a licensed masonry to inspect out fireplace. They certainly wouldn't have done that if they weren't responsible. This was in April and they still won't do what any decent, reputable company would do and give us our deductible back! Do not hire Elysian at any cost. This is what nightmares are made off

Roofing - unprofessional, does not communicate with customer after receiving funds for roof, everything is done on their time still waiting after signing contract almost 4 weeks ago. Finally received a call back, Installation scheduled for next week. I will update post on how things are handled. My opinion at this point...find another company.

I am overall very happy with the outcome, no complaints! They have a great team and a great company to work with because of how detail oriented they are. They really know what they're doing. The crew was clean and very nice. We even offered them eggrolls and water bottles. All that hard work must build an appetite. I highly recommend people to go with Elysian, they do great work for a great price. I give them 5 stars!

We used Elysian for repairs on our roof from hail damage. They did an outstanding job with fantastic customer service and follow through. We highly recommended Elysian!
