Based in Lexington, Kentucky, Bates Security is a family owned and operated business that had its beginning in 1984 when Sonny and Pat Bates purchased the Lexington Sonitrol franchise. Sonny, as a former Dallas Police Officer, knows the fundamentals of providing security and has built a solid security company on based on them. He has also developed a strong customer service culture at Bates Security where customer satisfaction aligned with the best security is our primary goal
