Our last pool was a nightmare, so naturally, I had so many questions and concerns. Andrew immediately put me at ease. He was incredible to work with and made me feel comfortable and excited about how much better it would be! I was worried about timing because I wanted a functioning pool for my daughter's birthday. He reassured me he would handle it, and he did! I am so grateful to Andrew and his crew. He really went above and beyond. I would highly recommend his company to anyone!

I can't recommend this company enough. They were so professional, so efficient & had incredible workmanship. Their crews all showed up on time, worked long days & modeled the same professionalism as the pool company itself. From demo day to water in our pool was 8 weeks (including some weather delays in there), including almost 2,000sqft of concrete work and stairs. They held our hands through the entire process, adapting to our last minute change requests and modifications with ease and grace. There were no hidden or extra costs, they stayed within our budget and timeline to a T. They exceeded our expectations and I would 100% use them again and recommend them to anyone we know looking for a complete yard & pool build.

Wells Pools- Love them! Highly recommend. We have had a great experience with them from day 1 through completion and after, including all the vendors they work with. Andrew was prompt, courteous, kind and always communicative with us. He is very responsive with communication and responded to our questions promptly and never made us feel like we were a bother. He was straightforward in pricing and expectations. Due to the crazy storms in winter 2023 things were delayed, but due to mother nature, no fault of Wells Pools. Project manager Dave was fantastic! His knowledge of the building process was invaluable. All of the crews we worked with (yard demolition/hole digging, concrete, tile, plaster) were all on time/prompt, courteous, respectful of our property and got the jobs done. Shout out to Caleb, equipment driver extraordinaire, who understood me when I panicked about things (and he has mad driving skills!). We never felt pressure from anyone- sometimes decisions take time- everyone understood. Nothing is ever perfect- weather happens, things get missed, but for me acknowledgment and fixing it is the main thing, which they did with anything we brought up. The process is fun to watch; be prepared though to have a big hole in your yard for several weeks. It’s just all part of the process. We LOVE our pool. We have used it many times, and every time we say “we love our pool.” Thank you, Andrew and the amazing crews who made this, happen for us. So happy, so thankful.

We had a wonderful experience with Wells Pools. Our new swimming pool and concrete decking is beautiful and we absolutely love our new backyard! Clear and up front communication and competative pricing. A family company that is modern and offers the latest in styles and features. Andrew was great to work with! Kept in constant communication with us no matter what time day/night. Genuine person who listened to us and designed the pool of our dreams. All the teams (plaster, tile, concrete, etc.) arrived to work timely and worked hard to stay on schedule. Start to finish less than 90 days! Highly recommend Wells Pools!

From start to finish it was nothing but five star service from Wells Pools. Project started and was completed within six weeks. Constant communication and understanding of what was going on and what was happening. Even when we found things that we needed to be corrected they were address within a timely manner. The design was spot on and we love her pool more than anything. They take great pride in their work and ensure that if they sign a contract with you and schedule your work that it will be done within the timeframe that they state. they only take on as much work as they can handle within a year which is very reassuring. You don’t really realize the amount of upgrades that you were given that comes standard with this pool company. They use quality subs and they have pride in their work, and I work for a General Contractor and I know quality when I see it. We highly recommend using Wells Pools for your next pool!!!

*** Edit: Wells Pools contacted me shortly after this review. They fixed my problem promptly and that is why I am continuing my review. I guess you just have to watch every step to make sure no problems will occur down the road. Thank you Wells Pools and once I have landscaped my backyard I will post pictures to show everyone our beautiful pool that you built. After the pool was built and finished we were ready for landscaping around the pool (almost 2 years later). I wanted to plant a few palms behind the pool and when I got to digging to find the water lines I found that the trenches were filled with Gunite. I called Wells Pools and the gentleman verbatim told me "I wish there was something we can do but at this point it is what it is." In the picture I see they put a protective sheet on the fence to protect the fence but why couldn't they have put that on the very back side of the pool to prevent my current problem. I'm hesitating chip away at the gunite because I'm afraid of busting the water lines. The pool itself turned out great but Wells' work ethic is very poor.

Wells pools finished our back yard oasis last October. We couldn’t be happier. They made an extension of our home. We love connecting with our kids around the pool and fire pit. Love love what they have done for us.

For the past 10 years, we have been blessed to be able to work with Wells Pools throughout the greater Sacramento area by installing our automatic swimming pool safety covers. The quality and the details shine as our cover systems install seamlessly on their pools. Wells is a great partner, and we look forward to long future ahead serving their clients.

We moved into a brand new house in Sept 2014 and the yard was just simply dirt. We met multiple contractors to discuss possible plans for pool and landscape design. We received 3 bids (including Wells Pools). Unlike the other contractors, Joel took the time to take full and accurate measurements of the yard as well as the exterior of the house details. While other contractors come in with a typical blueprint (printed on whitepaper) showing lines of where the pool would go and nothing more, Joel of Wells Pools presented his vision for the entire backyard including the pool design using a live 3D application that helped us visualize how things will look from every angle possible before it was even built. He was even able to show us the views from each window in the house facing the pool which really amazed us. His attention to details and our requirements was superior. Once we signed the contract the project was started in a timely fashion. Rex; the project manager who took over execution was extremely professional and was on top of the project (so was the crew). We were thrilled with the end product matching the vision that Joel created in his proposed design. Wells Pools staff was also great in following up on things that required attention after the project was completed. We would highly recommend them and would use them again if we ever needed to build another pool :)

I have worked with many pool companies over the years and I am so glad I found Wells Pools! I collaborated with Joel Wells on three projects this past season with impressive results. His years of experience, concern for client satisfaction and aesthetic vision combine to create an enjoyable process and wonderful pools!

Our pool has been complete for about two months now and we could not be happier. They won our business because of their design and feedback from several of our friends that have had pools built by Wells Pools, but we can now recommend them ourselves. They were great to work with and they were very patient with our last minute changes on tile, etc. It turned out great. I can understand why they are so busy. No one wants to take a chance with other pool contractors.

If you want to do business with a local family business that has integrity and takes pride in their work, this is the company to go with. This company takes the time required to build great pools! This is not a slick chain with a pushy sales guy, this a genuinely nice group of people doing their very best to please everyone and produce a product they and their clients can be proud of. This spring the Wells family and their knowledgeable team made our dream yard come true and we feel lucky to have landed on them. Be patient with this company and you won't have any regrets.

After purchasing our home we decided a small pool area would be perfect in our back yard. I did extensive research and met with several salesman but only what I would consider one designer, Joel Wells. He had a vision for us that unfolded as we talked and my husband and I became more and more excited. Long story short, Josh came back with a beautiful design which we tore to shreds and told him we wanted a completely different design based on a linear viewpoint we saw in a magazine and you could see the excitement grow in Josh's eye's as he said that he had the same idea and loved linear planes. With a completely new design that we loved plus energy saving variable speed equipment, solar panels and a magnificent fire pit that lit up the skies we are the envy of the neighborhood with our Salt Water Heated Spool that can be heated to a Spa like 105 degrees in about 2 hours from a back up 400k BTU Gas Heater while keeping our energy costs far below what we thought they would be ! This is indeed our piece of paradise on Earth.

Working with Wells Pools was extremely enjoyable, from knowledgeable designers, to timely communications, to the execution of the project, we simply had NO problems. How often can you as that these days? We love our pool and feel we received an excellent value.

We were very happy with Wells Pools and our finished pool project, they were on time with the schedule and best of all they communicated with us every step along the way which is rare in our experience with other pool builders. We would definitely use them again on future projects.

Wells did a fabulous job on a very complex design requirement combined with a uniquely challenging client and schedule. Joel was patient and very professional. As a Landscape Architect who relies on each tradesman to collaborate and perform at an expert level, I would recommend Wells for any pool or water feature project.

Wells Pool came out and provided us with a pool design that met both our budget and our backyard. Their service during the entire excavation, framing, gunite, plastering and decking was excellent.
