I have had a very frustrating experience with Thundersley Interiors and Gloria. I first ordered a Queen Size Duvet Set on October 16th. I was then contacted that the pricing on the website was incorrect and that I would need to pay more. In order to get both the duvet and two shams. I did this and to rectify the situation Gloria gave me one of the shams for free. By November 1st, my item still had not been shipped and Gloria said not to worry, the items I ordered were in stock and would be shipped out on November 2nd. This was a lie. My items were not in stock, and they weren't shipped out until December 3rd. When my items did arrive, the 2 shams were missing. I informed Gloria of the missing shams on December 6th and she said she would ship them on the 7th. Now it is January 6th, and Gloria claims to be shipping out the shams tomorrow. Gloria has repeatedly been dishonest about the status of the items I have purchased and failed to fulfill my order for almost 3 months. While she has been very responsive, the majority of things she has promised in relation to stock and shipping were not true. I hope the in-person experience at the store is better, but I cannot recommend ordering anything from Thundersley Interiors website.

You are correct we were late with your order. Firstly, this was a discontinued product which at the time you placed your order the last shipment was on its way to our warehouse then to be distributed. Our delay was a seasonal one as we had Thanksgiving approaching and then Christmas, we found ourselves overwhelmed with orders. We give you a complimentary sham value $76.00 as you mentioned and for being late, we gave you a complimentary additional 2 custom hand sewn throw pillows sold at $85.00 each totaling complimentary products of $246.00. We thought it the right thing to do giving you complimentary items totaling up more than half what you spent with us (your order was $370.98 with free shipping) see links below for free items. We thought that by giving you the complimentary products it would go some way to demonstrate our appreciation for you as a customer. By the way with all due respects to you when you first supplied me with your first name, I actually thought I had misheard the word Kachine and assumed it was Kristine. On all our conversations we had on the phone you never once corrected me on my mispronunciation. My apologies for calling you Kristine.
You also mentioned that you had just returned from your honeymoon. Sincerely wishing you and your husband all the best.
We have tracked all your items and noted they have been received by you.

The Roman shades made by Gloria for our living room are both beautiful and practical. Even my boys can use them easily, which is important! Gloria had leftover fabric and suggested creating matching pillows for my couch. It truly pulls the room together! When I asked her to take a look at my bedroom curtains, she also saw the potential to make them work better in the room. With just a touch of a different fabric added onto the length of the curtains, it tied other aspects of the room together. Gloria's work brings a smile to my face!

Buyer Beware!!! More than two months have gone by since I placed my order with lots of assurances that it would be shipped, week after week. NO tracking provided and NO order ever arrived. Shop elsewhere!!

Firstly, would just like to put this into prospective and without appearing to patronize your order. This discrepancy is regarding two 15” memo samples or fabric cuttings, totaling $60. We do not manufacture the fabric ourselves as you are aware. The Fabric house not only manufacture but also distribute the cuttings. It is a well known fact that they sometimes take weeks or months to process these requests. I would also like to mention that I made a trip to the Design and Decoration building in Manhattan, NYC on your behalf to query and pull the samples myself. During the time in the D&D, we chatted and texted and I sent photos to you of different areas of the pattern, if you recall; ( info is still in my phone). This is a service which under normal circumstances, I would charge a fee for. In your case I did not. We were actually in possession of the samples for 2 to 2 and a half weeks prior to you receiving them. Not 2 months as you imply. Two, to two and half weeks is our normal process time for sending small packages via the post etc. Incidentally, we did not transfer/ process your Pay Pal payment of $60.00 to our account . It is still in the Pay Pal system.

Gloria was very receptive to unique design ideas from my advisor and followed the directions perfectly. The results on two significant upholstered pieces was over the top and I receive compliments daily. Additionally, her estimation of required fabric was spot on so there was very little waste and whatever was left over is reserved for future use. Her chaps were very helpful in moving the furniture and during pick ups - Gloria's flexibility allows for unique pick up times and very reliable and timely service.
