We purchased their product in the UK. It is prohibited to sell electrical appliances that do not comply with a country's regulatory standards. They admitted that their team contacted the supplier directly, who confirmed that a 230V unit is no longer being produced. Despite this, they still refuse to issue a refund after taking £2,500 from us. This has been the worst customer service experience we've ever had.

We sincerely apologize for the confusion you experienced. As noted on our website and in the unit’s manual, this product is designed and manufactured for compatibility with North American electrical standards only.

To assist you with your concerns, and in good faith, our team provided you with clear instructions on the modification that could be successfully made to the unit to accommodate UK electrical requirements. In the past, such modifications have been successful for our UK and Australia clients to use this unit.

If unit was plugged in and powered on prior to any modification being completed, the unit will no longer operate, which is what you have experienced.
In these cases, the unit is typically considered damaged, which voids our ability to provide warranty or replacement coverage directly. For this reason, the warranty and replacement process must be handled through the manufacturer.

We understand this situation has been frustrating and regret any inconvenience caused.

Please know that our team always aims to provide clarity, support, and solutions wherever possible, and we remain available to guide you in contacting the manufacturer should you require assistance.

Genuine was very helpful answering any and all questions we had. During installation when we needed some replacement parts they where shipped immediately upon request no questions asked.

I recently purchased wine racks and was very happy with the service and end product. I measured the wall and received a couple of plans and options and then ordered my preferred selection. The wine racks arrived when due and were in perfect condition. Couldn't be happier.

When it comes to Buying Custom Wine Cellar components there is not another Company in the market place that compares to the Professionalism, Knowledge and Customer Service that Genuwine Wine Cellars delivers. This project had it challenges and Robb and his staff were there to help us through all of the issue's with Building this Wine Cellar in the Desert and dealing with the extreme temperatures and Dry Conditions.
