My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

what are the materials in the backsplash was it pre made on a sheet or are they individual pieces

    All hand set individually. Design is a completely custom one.

    You did a great job....I think I might copy you if you don't mind except instead of ceramic I want to use an amber colored subway tile

    I forgot to tell you the materials. We used a limestone (darker material), and mixed in taupe colored ceramic and stainless steel tiles. Have fun and I hope your project comes out perfect.

    This wood looks like oak. I am hoping it is because I like the stain. Can you tell me the stain color/maker?

    Carolynpm - yes, this is oak. Since I can't guarantee you're seeing this the same as reality I recommend trying a couple of the darker Minwax stains to get just the right dark tone.
