Gareth and his crew did an excellent job. They power washed my driveway and back patio on day 1, then sealed and filled all cracks over all the concrete on day 2. This refreshed the colour and put a non-slip coating over all surfaces. They were very prompt, polite, clean and professional. I recommend them highly.

Project - pressure wash, crack repair & & re-seal concrete pool patio & driveway. We were extremely pleased with the process of this project from estimate to completion. Gaerth is especially knowledgeable about every aspect of concrete procedures. He provided an estimate on the work we wanted done quickly, explaining exactly what could be expected. When a booking date was confirmed Cindy kept us continually informed including arrival time & a list providing the step by step process. This is quite refreshing as many companies do not communicate well after initial purchase agreement! Mode Concrete was punctual & completed the task exactly as specified in their estimate. We are loving our fresh look concrete & would not hesitate to recommend Mode Concrete for all your concrete needs !!

I’ve now used Mode Concrete on a few of my projects and in my own home as I’m a Contractor also, all the Sub Trades I use represent my own Company and the high quality that myself and my clients expect, The guys at Mode always deliver a high quality finished product whether it’s concrete sealing or a beautiful Faux Concrete fireplace, Gareth is a pleasure to deal with and always delivers the required information and product in a timely well thought out fashion, the guys are always polite, clean and tidy whilst paying attention to the fine details that ensure an excellent job and not just an “OK” one. I personally have 34yrs experience in construction and wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Gareth @ Mode Concrete.

We had a simple job of resealing our driveway and patio. Gareth’s quote was the lowest of the 3 and he was the most professional. We were very happy with his work. Prompt, obviously experienced, good communication before, during, and after. Will hopefully use him for future projects of a bigger nature.

We have hired Mode Concrete several times to pressure clean and reseal our stamped concrete driveway and pool deck. We couldn't have found a better company to employ. Mode is a local, family run business and Gareth cares for your home as if it were his own. He is a professional and brings to any job a real knowledge of and feeling for concrete and what is required to keep it well-maintained. I have hired Mode Concrete twice to perform routine repairs and maintenance on a large pool side patio surface (stamped concrete) and driveway (exposed aggregate). Mode Concrete provided reliable, professional advice, service and excellent workmanship at a fair price. We hired Mode to seal our driveway and stamped concrete decking around our pool. Initially we had some adhesion issues with the old cheap water-based sealer product that was on there and the new professional grade sealer & xylene product that was applied by Mode. Worst Concrete Company Ever to Deal With . First they gave us a estimate and promised to repair and reseal our concrete which they rushed threw missing a lot of the cracks and holes they had promised to fix . Total hours put in where aprox 12 hrs at a cost of 4000.00 for the job . After I winter the sealer that was used turned white . After numerous phone calls and promises they would come out to fix their mess they decided to ignore us and do nothing Biggest rip off ever

Hi Gary,

Your project was completed in May 2016. The reason you originally contacted us was to reduce the already present spalling and surface failure (cracking / damage). We pressure washed the surface, filled the cracks with color matched concrete, xylened the existing sealer build-up and then applied the sealer topcoat. Our process takes 2 days onsite to complete the process and our prices are very competitive (we encourage all clients to receive more than 1 quote before deciding who to hire). We traveled from Lake Country (where our shop is located) to Penticton to come to you (every site visit took 4+ hours travel time) that we take into consideration when pricing out of town jobs. Your project was quite large and we gave you a discounted rate considering the travel time involved (your project was 8049 sq ft x $0.50/sq ft).

White sealer is easy to remedy with xylene (which re-emulsifies the surface) and easily fixes this problem. We always offer complimentary site visits, if a client has any issues after we leave. We encourage you to contact us again (Gareth has reached out & left voicemails to address your complaints). If you contact us (250.864.6566 or modeconcete@shaw.ca), we can book you into our calendar and fix any areas of concern you have about your concrete.
