Amy's impeccable taste shines throughout her projects and furnishing selections. It is no wonder she made a fine selection of glass pendants from our custom lighting collections to complement several rooms in one of her recent jobs. Each piece was selected and placed with the utmost attention to detail. A pleasure to work with, and we hope to do more work with her in the near future!

My husband and I spent days visiting design studios and hours online looking for the right sconces to add to our re-decorated family room. I found Amy Dutton Home on Houzz and discovered the exact sconce we had in mind. When I called the store Gillian was generous with her time in helping me decide if the look and scale would be right. I sent her photos, she sent me photos of the sconce set up in a living space. Bingo! The sconces arrived quickly and they are absolutely perfect. Even though this was a teeny little 'project' Gillian offered her time and experience to help me as if we were making much larger decisions. Thank you, Gillian, from new fans in Portland, OR!

Amy Dutton is an architect who I highly recommend. She has excellent understanding of her projects and is very responsive to her client's needs. Amy also designs her own fabrics and furniture and has a showroom in Kittery, Maine. Amy Dutton designed my kitchen and I have used her for smaller landscape projects. She has brilliant and practical ideas. My advice is to tell her what you want and let her come up with the concept, then you can fine tune it to meet your exact needs. Amy does not get stuck on an idea, she listens to the homeowner. When working on our kitchen I said I wanted a room that felt comfortable for two or twenty, and it had to have a fireplace and small sitting area and to feel like it belonged to the rest of the house. She did exactly what I wanted and I have a kitchen I love.

We recently hired Amy Dutton at Juniper River to assist in a kitchen remodel. She was patient and professional while I changed my mind, over and over again!
