Anderson Design Studio was formed in 1988 with a strong commitment to design excellence that holds true today. Their expertise in providing complete interior design services with a special attention to detail is unsurpassed. Kathy Anderson, IIDA, owner and principal designer in the company, has over twenty years experience in the commercial and residential interior design field. During this time, Kathy has developed a stellar reputation for delivering the highest quality, professional service and consistently meeting the client’s needs in regards to style, budget, time, and functionality. Her understanding of the importance of working successfully with the project team, including client, owner, architect, contractor, and subcontractors, continues to produce outstanding results that everyone can take pride in. Kathy and her Design group is absolutely wonderful. They provided ID work for us on a VIP section and the artwork for the Wildhorse Saloon Renovation in Nashville, TN. Not only was the design beautifully put together but it consisted of materials that were readily available. Kathy and Katie instigated a flawless process throughout the project. I cannot wait to utilize them again!

We have hired Kathy Anderson Design for our third project. One tear-down, one from base/frame and now remodel. She is truly the best. She does exceptionally well with bridging between two people and their different needs...styles. Each time she has peppered our homes with our personalities. Character. Function. Aesthetics. We received several design awards and were featured in a couple magazines. Flattering! We highly recommend this team.

I've been working with Katie Stix at Anderson Design Studio for the past 6 months and she's been wonderful to work with! She has helped with a total re-design of basically my entire home, including the living room, dining room, office and master bedroom. She has helped bring warmth and personality to a newly remodeled house with beautiful wallcoverings and draperies, has a knack for problem-solving tough spaces and found furniture, fixtures, rugs, art and accessories that are unique and will turn my house into a beautiful home. Katie is great at listening and taking in all of your likes/dislikes. She works with you to infuse your personal style into the design plans and is quick to adapt and change direction when you do. Katie has been so easy and fun to work with. I can't recommend Katie and the Anderson Design Studio team enough!

My husband and I own several downtown, historical, commercial buildings that we convert into lofts. We have worked with Anderson Design Studio over the past few years on all of our conversions/renovations. There design sense, professionalism and knowledge is impressive. They know how to cultivate what our ideas our and merge with their ideas to create magic. We are always under budget and meet our deadlines which is very important with construction. We have various styles depending on the project and they can do anything from contemporary, traditional with a twist, modern and tons more. They are very budget aware as certain projects we need to do on a shoestring and the level design quality never fails. We highly recommend Kathy Anderson, Katie Stix and the rest of the Anderson Design Studio team.

I have worked with Anderson Design Studio for the past 4 years doing 3 separate renovations to my home. Each time I work with them I am SO pleased with the outcome that I know I will ask them to help with the next designs. I started with a renovation of my kitchen/living room area in 2009, then did my master bathroom approximately 2 years later and my laundry room off the kitchen was completed this past winter. Each job has included tearing out the spaces down to the studs, removal of debris, rewiring, re-plumbing, and re-flooring with some changes to the placements of the original walls. We could not be happier with the outcomes and HIGHLY recommend Anderson Design for any job, large or small.

There is not a finer design firm than Anderson Design Studio. From the concepts, to the information, to the clarity and definition of the drawings, I have not worked with a better firm. I have recommended them to many clients. I have hired them for the design and detailing of my own office. There just isn't a better Designer than Kathy Anderson and her staff only reflects this particular distinction.

Anderson Design Studio is a team of consummate professionals lead by Kathy Anderson. Well known for large commercial jobs including class a office space to famous hotels, my work with Kathy has largely revolved around the music industry with private clients homes and studios I design and build. Kathy is excellent grasping whatever concept direction I am going with on different projects and listening to the clients wish lists. Always on time and always thorough with her drawings, she provides both the client and me as the builder and acoustic designer exactly what we need to make decisions and complete projects! Her reputation is excellent in Nashville which in our business is highly referral based. Fresh, clean, sophisticated with an edgy twist is how I would best describe her work! Highly recommend!!
