My San Francisco based firm, Hunt Hale Jones Architects, has had the opportunity to work with Capomastro Group on two significant projects over the years. The first was a 7,000 square foot estate in Ross, the second a luxury high rise unit in San Francisco. While the projects differed in many ways, Capomastro Group was outstanding in all regards. Quality of the work was at the highest level, project management and organization were superlative, and communication with the owners and the consulting team thorough and meaningful. Capomastro Group is on our “A” list of recommended construction firms.

Govers Sidewall Shingling

I've worked with Robert and the CMG crew on several projects in the last couple of years - in Oakland, Berkeley, Ross and San Francisco.. As a subcontractor, the aspects we favor most in working for general contractors are preparedness, professionalism, consistency and support. I think these traits are certainly favorable to find in a general contractor for homeowners as well so there's some value in seeing a perspective as seen from a position other than that of the homeowner or client. Robert and company are thorough, fair and paved the way for us to do our job as best as we can, accommodating our needs as they arose and I saw them work well with all the other subs and both projects I worked on turned out awesome with great final results. I'd work for them again.

From bidding to billing, they are transparent with project costs and always set clear expectations on the budget with clients. Their management skills, craftsmanship, awareness of new products, and understanding of engineering and design have made them a pleasure to work with. They have always served the client well and responded to questions and project changes quickly and efficiently. From Project Managers to office staff, each member of the Capomastro Group team communicates well with clients and myself as the design professional. Requests for clarifications are timely, and haven't required modifications of the schedule. Job meetings are well run, with a prepared agenda and clear action items. I will work with Capomastro Group again and have referred them to multiple clients.
