Danielle is very professional. She has an amazing eye for design. We loved what she did for our old home. She is very detailed and is always helping the customer work with in their means. We continue to ask her advice for other items to be done on our home.

I am completely thrilled with the transformation Danielle has done with my home! After just one meeting, she accurately understood my style and the look I was going for, plus my need for our space and furnishings to work with three children in the home. My wife and I have used Danielle numerous times over the last twelve years. We most recently hired her as our designer and general contractor for a complete remodel of our kitchen, family room, staircase and living room space and we are thrilled with the end result. We moved to an open concept for this living space and it has transformed our main level living area. The design for the staircase and banister was a custom project for Danielle and it is truly a work of art. Danielle served as the general contractor for selecting, communicating, and regularly following up with the construction teams that worked on our remodel. During our two month remodel she held the construction workers accountable for quality of work and budget costs. She is thorough, creative, tenacious, frugal, trustworthy, honest and extremely knowledgeable in design and construction. I am building my first house. It was a duanting and overwhelming process when I first got started. I had talked to some general contractors and they told me to get my plans figured out first and then they could give me bids. I hired a plan designer and really struggled with working with him and his ideas were not well communicated. I wanted to "see" what things would really look like, not his place holders as he called them. After being frustrated with his renderings (or lack of I should say), I turned to Houzz to find a designer to help me see my vision. I was lucky to come across Danielle Erickson's information. She was the first designer I contacted, and frankly I initially called her because she works very close to my home. I wasn't sure what to expect at our first meeting, or even if I would utilize her services. But almost immediately I realized THIS was the person I was searching for all along to help me. She pointed out a number of very smart changes we could make to improve the floor plan. She caught many mistakes the plan designer had made as well. I wish I had hired her BEFORE I even started the floor plans. It would have saved a ton of time, and I probably would have never hired the guy doing my floor/structural plans. In addition, she totally "got" my design asthetic right away. She went out and selected all of the materials for my kitchen and bathrooms and flooring as well. When she came by to show me everything I couldn't have been happier! Saved me so much time in trying to figure out what would go together and she is so creative in coming up with tile patterns etc. Probably my favorite part so far is the detailed renderings she did for my kitchen, fireplace and bathroom. It's an intricately drawn 'picture' of what it will look like when it's done. Even the stone tile work behind my bathtub is sketched in. She gave a great deal of thought to the layout of my kitchen and I am sure it will be as functional as it is beautiful. At times Danielle nudged me out of my comfort zone, but the more I look at the images she suggested the more it just felt 'right' lol! Danielle was also the person that recommended my project manager/contractor. He was a fantastic choice for our project and we couldn't be happier with him as well. In summary I would say that I give Danielle my highest recommendation. She is so very talented and I think reasonably priced. I don't make many design decisions now without running them by her. My project is just getting started but I feel confident that it will be exactly how I envisioned it!
