Anna and Chuck Dietsche are consummate professionals. Easy to work with, always listening, and never overbearing. My wife and I hired them to design and supervise construction of our beach house on Bald Head Island beginning in 2001 and ending in 2003. Construction on an island without bridge access is always slow. Their attention to detail and involvement in in every facet of construction, design and decorating were above and beyond expectations. They created a unique home for us away from home, and in our view and others one of the most beautiful homes on the Island.

We employed Dietsche + Dietsche to design our beach home in Wrightsville Beach, NC as well as work alongside the builder until our home was completed. They are thoughtful in their approach and attentive to details that define a quality home and make it unique. Their design plans were extremely thorough making the execution from design to finished product seamless and timely. The Dietsches have many years of design experience but make an effort to keep abreast of current trends and new technologies related to the home building business.

It was really a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to work with Chuck on the design of our beach cottage and with Anna on the interiors. Everything about the home is perfect as far as my family and I are concerned. Each room is uniquely beautiful and detailed, as are the outside porches and decks. We have been using the house for eight years now and love it more with each passing year. Don't pass up an opportunity to work with Chuck and Anna. It was a wonderful journey!

Our Project was planned in mid-2008 and we broke ground in the late Fall. Construction was haulted during the harsh winter months and was completed in December of 2010. Access to our building site was very tight and limited due to an easement road. He worked within the difficult constraints. Chuck Dietsche was the most professional and creative Architect we could have found. He was always available and deadlines were always met on time. He worked closely with our budget and gave us options. We truly feel he is the best! We thoroughly enjoyed working with Chuck and Anna Dietche. He travelled across country to help us build our beautiful dream home in Montana. We had a very complicated mountainside building site and Chuck created a beautiful home design on his very first effort, that we stuck with throughout the project. The home flows beautifully with no waisted space. In addition to the beautiful structure, every single detail was looked after from the door knobs to the intricate and beautiful woodwork to the amazing handmade custom tiles for the fireplace surrounds and hearth. He also sourced really unique lighting. My husband and I highly recommend Dietsche & Dietsche Architects!

Having retired after spending decades in the window and door business calling on architects and builders, I sometimes get a twinge of regret that I’m not still ‘in the field’ when I see another Dietsche and Dietsche project, and realize that I could have been involved with it. It was always such a pleasure to work on this firm’s projects – to see everything come together so nicely, time after time, under the vigilant and creative direction of the conductors, Chuck and Anna. I have had the pleasure of knowing and working with Chuck Dietsche since 2006. My primary role on Bald Head Island (BHI) has been the Architectural Review Coordinator for various Boards and Committees. Chuck has always been generous with his time and talents as Director of those Architecture Review Boards/Committees. I know that if I ever have questions or need assistance he is an excellent source. His dedication to maintaining the architectural quality of development on BHI is evident when you take the golf cart tour. The homes Chuck design have a unique architectural quality to them. You can tell that Chuck listens to his clients and provides an intellectual response to their design needs. He can take a concept sketch idea and create a beautiful home with a sense of place and belonging.

Chuck and Anna deliver a masterful blend of classic architecture updated for today's lifestyle. The level of detail is magnificent and inspiring. Chuck and Anna were able to deliver our dream home, one so splendid that it was selected as the interior for Grayson Manor on ABC's hit drama Revenge.

Simply put, Chuck is the best. He is one of most brilliant minds in architecture and is truly one of the most kind and thoughtful people we know. His first question to us was, "how do you want your house to feel?" And from that moment on he led us through a series of discussions that he used to create a design for our home and land that was more than we could have ever dreamed or imagined. We wanted it to feel like an old, well-loved farmhouse, a place of welcome refuge - where there was space for everyone but not cavernous - and we were starting with an empty field as the canvas. His attention to detail was so impressive - every single aspect of his design was drawn with great purpose. Everyone who comes to our home always comments on how it "feels" and we attribute that to Chuck's incredibly skilled design. It was a joy and a privilege to have the opportunity to work with him.
