Perfect color and design! It's very elegant looking and it goes perfectly under our dinning room table. The color is not too dark or bright of a red. I took the pictures where there is plenty of natural light so the color may appear to be a bright red in the photo. It's a very beautiful rug for an inexpensive price! You can't go wrong with this rug so don't hesitate on buying it. I'm sure it will compliment your space. It's also very soft and comfortable on your feet. The shipment was extremely prompt. Shopping for rugs can be overwhelming. Thankfully, Floorplan puts all of the thought into craftsmanship and design, so you don't have to. Floorplan helped make what could be a stressful process totally seamless and I was able to find a unique rug that I love!

My husband and I worked with Erin to choose two rugs for our dining and living rooms (actually sort of one room in our NYC apartment). Erin was phenomenally good at asking the right questions, suggesting alternatives we hadn't considered, and helping us stay within our budget. The result is a room that feels lighter and brighter and looks cohesive, yet has defined eating and relaxing spaces. Awesome, super unique rugs, and really easy to work with. They know more than may be healthy about rugs, not just where they're made, what they're made of, and how they're constructed, but the realities of the industry, the history of the process, the cultural significance of the pattern. It didn't feel like I was buying a rug but more that we were trying to fit the needs of the room. They had an eye for space that made it feel like a space and not just a space with a rug in it. I'm stoked because now we have a baby room rug that the kids can drool on, lego on, have accidents on, play dream phone on (or whatever the modern version is), and will be something that eventually they'll fight over as adults when they're building their own homes, and I may... not give it to them. :-) We'll see...
