With the pastel colors you have in your living room, you need to be careful about adding red to the mix, but you can certainly add pinky/rose tones in some pillows and then pick up the rose tones with a little bit of red in a rug. Look for a rug that has the sofa color plus some rose and a small amount of red.

What might help you is to find a print fabric that has your green in it mixed with something pink or red. Your green is nearly a seafoam or celedon. . some of your existing pillows appear to have a lavender-y pink in them .. not so easy to mix with red.

You might want to change them out for a new fabric - use that fabric when you shop for a rug. Red comes in so many shades - you need a pinky red or plum red tone, not an orange red to make this flow. The smallest amount is likely best. The other trick to pastels is that you will need a special color on the walls that works with both areas - lots of undertones to beige.
