Melody was instrumental in designing the new layout of the kitchen while working with the small space that we had. She also led us through the process presenting options and recommendations for cabinets, counter tops, floor type, lighting, fixtures, hardware, etc. If we had certain opinions on what we wanted, she was supportive of working it into the final product. She also made recommendations for changes to adjacent areas to help with the flow of the new décor in the kitchen.

Melody helped us with a complete kitchen remodel for our 27 year old house. She was very patient with us, working around our schedules. Our project took several months to plan. Melody was attentive to our needs and was willing to work with our choices for countertop and backsplash tile. She located a luxury vinyl tile that we absolutely love, so easy to take care of. She caught a few errors during the rough in stage that alleviated problems later in the project. She is very detailed oriented and we thoroughly enjoyed working with her.

Melody is incredible to work with and for as she has a keen eye for design and mind for organization and customer service. Melody is outstanding at discerning your style and coming up with the perfect design, and she is a pleasure to work with. My husband and I were overwhelmed by all the design choices for our kitchen remodel, especially choosing a color palette. Melody met with us, brought us samples, and helped to distill all the choices. She introduced us to some wonderful choices for countertops, backsplash, paint color, flooring, window treatments and lighting that made our kitchen and open dining/living room stunning! We couldn't be more pleased.

Working with Melody was terrific. She did all the work! She met with us and we gave her the basic idea we wanted to accomplish with our kitchen & family room remodel. We also had a firm budget that she asked about at our initial meeting. She then put a plan together and walked us through that plan. She had vision and ideas we would have never thought of on our own. When we were needed to make decision on such things as colors, countertops or cabinets, she brought samples to the house. No running all over town looking at samples. It was really painless. The project was done on budget and in a timely manner. It has been over 5 years since we did this project but I still wouldn't change a thing today. It was the best investment we have made in our house.

I hired Melody to assist me with updating an older home that we purchased. 90% of the home went through some sort of updating/gutting. Melody was a master at managing the various contractors so that the work occurred quickly and all her sub-contractors she uses are very good and professional. She stayed in close touch with me (and them) at all times, and definitely works very full-time at her profession so is on top of the latests trends, vendors, and has excellent relationships with and is respected by the people I came in contact with that she uses. She also kept me posted via a calendar that showed me what day of each month different tradesmen would be working in our home, which was very helpful. I would recommend Melody Davidson (and already have) to anyone looking for an interior designer.

When we moved into our villa, we needed a blackout curtain in the spare bedroom for our son. After chatting with our maintenance staff and determining they could NOT provide what we wanted, I contacted Melody and gave her a brief outline of the proposed project. When she arrived to talk with us, she was prepared with a proposal for me and sample books for my wife to review. After my wife picked out what she wanted, Melody took measurements, made a couple of phone calls, and had the product ordered with a firm shipping date and a date range for the installation specialist. I was very impressed with her attention to detail and the speed with which she prepared and completed the project. The longest time requirement in preparing the project was for my wife to choose what she wanted. After that, the project proceeded with almost lightning speed with completion as promised. I cannot recommend her more highly, regardless of the size and scope of your project.

I have been a client of Melody's for over 30 years. We have had several projects over these 30 years and every time she has been efficient and respectful of my budget while ensuring that the end product is awesome!! She does a great job of suggesting creative ideas within my budget. From the beginning she had a insight for figuring what I would like and not like. It is always an easy and fun process to work with Melody. Our last project was painting my kitchen cabinets. They turned out beautiful.

Melody helped us choose paint colors, drapes, shutters, lighting fixtures and kitchen wall tile for our new home. She was very in tune with the style we liked. Melody was always punctual and ready with new ideas. She is an individual that is very easy to work with, never pushy and always seemed upbeat. We purchased living room, dining room and bedroom drapes thru Melody as well as shutters for the master bedroom. Melody also helped us choose art work for several rooms as well as area rugs. We will definitely be using her again.

I first met Melody in 1978 when I needed new drapes in my townhome. She was prompt and made great suggestions and I was happy with her services. I moved in 1981 and again called her for more interior design work. She has helped me decorate three more times in three different homes. She is easy to work with and professional and I have no reservations in recommending her design services. She does excellent work.
