I have nothing but positive things to say about our experience working with Lindsay. We built an efficiency space above a garage, and needed help not only with product/color selections but also with selecting furniture to appropriately fit the space. Lindsay has excellent taste, and did a great job of taking our feedback and providing various options to fit our budget. We look forward to engaging her on our next home renovation project.

Hunter Design helped me with the remodel of 2 bathrooms. She made the process of picking out materials and hiring a construction crew very uncomplicated. I love the designs and so does everyone that has seen them. I am looking forward to remodeling a master bath and kitchen with the guidance of Hunter Design. They are the best!!

We worked with Lindsay on two major projects and she is the best of the best! It’s hard to put into words how happy we were with planning the design of a new home from complete floor plan, space planning and interior design. Her calm nature and suggestions of options helped us feel at ease with the complexity of the design process. Then we worked with her long distance as we renovated a classic tudor home in Pittsburgh, PA. She managed the entire process of space planning, kitchen design, paint and new lighting and fixture selections. She worked extremely well with our contractor, handling all details. Most importantly, Lindsay helped us come together on design decisions and with the design process by providing a big picture of all the elements. This allowed us to avoid mistakes that are often costly. We could not be more pleased with the finished product. I highly recommend Hunter Design! We purchased a new home that required major renovation (kitchen, living space, exterior, closets, etc). Immediately, Lindsey jumped in and helped us see a new way to layout our kitchen and living space which was a perfect fit for our family. She took time to understand what we wanted and designed a plan to get us there. Lindsay not only guided us through the design, she worked with the builder to manage the project. She ensured we stayed on track, handled issues directly with the builder and ensured that this major project was stress-free for our family. When it came time for decor, she stuck to our budget, shopped around and presented us with a small number of options that were ALWAYS right on track. I can't give enough Hunter Design enough stars. Lindsay was wonderful to work with! She dedicated significant time to understanding our vision for the house and was careful to stick to the budget we provided. Lindsay from Hunter Design helped with the redesign of our living room and dining room. We had moved into a house that was last updated by a senior citizen in the early nineties and it desperately needed a fresh coat of paint and some new finishes to reflect our younger, modern (but cozy) style. Lindsay gave us a free consultation during which she looked carefully at the space, took measurements, and listened patiently to our attempts at describing our styles. After a few back and forths with ideas, we agreed on a design plan and chose our paint colors and finishes. The end result is even more beautiful than I could have hoped for. Lindsay really understood what we liked and disliked and the design process felt like a true collaboration. She selected great products, laid out the pros and cons of different finishes, had a great eye for color and proportion, and left us in full control of the final choices. She was professional, always punctual, and very responsive via email, phone, and text. I recommend Lindsay to anyone who is thinking about redoing a room but doesn't quite know how to achieve the perfect end-result. I must admit, we were worried that hiring an interior designer would be a luxury we couldn't afford, but it wasn't at all. It was money well-spent and made sure that the cash we put into the renovation would yield an end-result we could enjoy for decades to come. In 2018 we hired Lindsay again to redesign our master bathroom. Before the remodel, our 60's pink bathroom was unattractive and not very functional with an awkward layout. Lindsay changed all that by designing a modern, open space full of function and style. She tracked down the Northern European-style pieces that I wanted at affordable prices. She was respectful of our budget, interacted with the contractor to make sure the plans were clear and the materials arrived on time, and made the process as seamless as possible. We love our new space! We would hire Lindsay again in a heartbeat.

Lindsay is fantastic. Could not have been happier with the work that she did. My wife and I renovated half our house and had never used a designer before. We hired her because we were concerned about our ability to make good design choices really wanted to get it right because of the scope of the work. Lindsay immediately understood the look we wanted. There were a lot of challenges that arose with the contractor and Lindsay helped everyone communicate so that the tile, paint, fixtures, furniture, lighting, etc. came out the way that we planned. She was very straight forward communicating about billing and timelines etc. Most importantly, we were very happy with the finished product.

I've known Lindsay since 2008, and successfully completed two houses with her. I think she's the best! She has great taste in a range of styles, from contemporary to classic. She also has a gift for blending interior design elements in a way that feels fresh and interesting. She always listened carefully to me, helped me articulate my needs and preferences, and then showed me options that were far better than anything I could have imagined on my own. She is dedicated, respectful, smart, and trustworthy -- I would work with her again anytime, and hope to!
