We’re elated with the bathroom remodel design services Linda provided! She was very creative, had great remodel ideas, incorporated budget components into design options and coordinated with the bathroom remodel services providers to ensure everyone stayed on track throughout the project. Linda helped my wife and I with the design of our master bathroom remodel, and we couldn't be happier with how it turned out! Linda was with us for the entire process - from the very earliest designs to the last finishing touches on our brand new bathroom. We had a rough idea of the layout we wanted before we got started, but that was about it. Every other design choice was done with Linda's help. She put us in touch with all the vendors we needed to work with, came with us to pick out all the materials (tiles, cabinets, fixtures, etc...), and was able to get us a discounted rate on everything too! Although my wife is the kind of person who is able to quickly choose styles that she likes, Linda was able to guide us towards selections that complemented each other beautifully. She was never pushy about anything with respect to the designs, either. She'd offer her opinion and explain her thinking... but on the (rare) occassion that we disagreed, she was happy to help us follow through with our choices. Linda also followed up with both us and the vendors after we placed our orders, and she acted as our advocate with the vendors if there were any issues. One special call out that I wanted to make was that I really appreciate how responsive Linda was. I prefer communicating via text/e-mail, and she'd always respond to me the same day. My wife, on the other hand, prefers phone calls - and Linda made herself available to talk whenever she needed to do that as well. This project was the first remodel we've done for our home, and I was pretty anxious about it. Knowing that Linda was available at almost any time to discuss it really helped to put my mind at ease. We plan on doing more work to the house in the next few years, and we are absolutely going to continue to have Linda help us with the designs!

I have looked for years for a compatible decorator. Most were too contemporary for my mid-century house. However, Linda was different from the beginning. She listens to what you want, even when you don’t know what that is. We went along with a functional cozy cabin like feeling. She guided me to products that were durable, calming and cozy. She works with a great staff of contractors that made all the difference during this project. It was more like working with a friend who had your best interests at heart and guided you around potential pitfalls. As we were looking out my window, she pointed out house after house that she has done work on in my neighborhood. I felt at ease from the beginning and that’s saying a lot after interviewing many decorators.

It has been a pleasure to work with Linda on our home renovation. Her professionalism and the time she took to understand our aesthetic are appreciated! We renovated our home from changing out the flooring to new interior doors, millwork, new stairs, railings, built in’s for added storage in our loft and new lighting. I have worked with Linda twice in the last couple of years. The first time she helped me with colors for my foyer. Most recently she helped with colors for my rooms on the first floor of my house. She also worked with me to get a luxury vinyl flooring that would match my busy countertop in my kitchen. This was a real challenge since my countertop was a mixture of colors! She and I went to the flooring company she recommended and then she recommended the contractor that installed the tile. Both the tile company and the contractor were excellent! She also assisted with the color for my cellular shades and in looking for an area rug for my family room. Linda is personable and great to work with!

Linda was wonderful to work with and made a kitchen and master bath remodel easier. Linda went shopping with us to help select everything so it would all work together, making suggestions about items and show how they would fit into the overall design. I was hesitant to choose paint colors that would blend with the adjacent rooms. Linda solved that problem with beautiful colors. Linda was aware of our budget and worked to stay in that price range. A kitchen remodel with a change to the layout of the kitchen and some appliances. This remodel was wonderfully designed and beautifully put together - from the countertop to the paint. Had a good time going to pick tile, sink, cabinets and even the handles - we had a pleasant time getting every piece in place. Dealing with Linda - was good - her being professional, but, also, easy to go over my thoughts and her come back with her ideas for my space. Having work done could be a hard process but my experience was stress-free.

We are just wrapping up a project to repaint our kitchen cabinets and cabinets in 3 bathrooms and we cannot be happier with the result thanks to the design work Linda provided for our rooms. After visiting paint stores and bringing home countless paint samples, my husband and I could not decide on the best colors and were starting to get lost in the dizzying array of hardware options and colors. We also realized this change could create a domino effect in 4 rooms (repainting walls, changing window coverings & wall hangings) and those changes were not in our budget. We decided to contact Linda when we learned that our job was up next and we needed to make decisions in 4 days. Linda worked with us virtually to provide color options, hardware advice and used a color visualizer to show us the end result. Yet again a perfect color for my side and front doors. Lived in this house for four years, disliked door colors. (Both were different.) I kept looking at samples for a long time and none worked for me. I had Linda over and within a few minutes, the perfect color. Love it, she is amazing with color.

I was living in Georgia and bought a house in Illinois that needed major renovations before I moved in. Linda was incredibly helpful when I had a question about a beautiful custom rug she used in one of her designs! Unfortunately, I was unable to use her services because we are located in different states, however she was kind enough to provide me with information I could use in ordering the rug myself. I've known Linda for years through the Arlington Heights Chamber of Commerce. We have planned several events together for her Networking group. When our party room doors needed a makeover, I knew who to call and that I would be in great hands. Linda is very pleasant to work with and her fees are fair. She took what I had and came up with ways to achieve a lighter palette. My living and dining combo was dark with heavier materials. I wanted to lighten it up. She brought me drape, chair and rug ideas/fabrics. It is a work in process still due to my budget. I finished the chairs and rug and now need drape and lighting. Next project is my bedroom and I will continue to use Linda. She is easy going and gets it right the first time. Her recommendations are spot on. She has resources for finding what you like and she will go shopping with you.

Linda was a great resource to help us choose the color of our kitchen, bedrooms, living room, mudroom, and bathroom. She also helped me pick out the flooring for our bathroom and mudroom. During our remodel she was incredibly patient and very flexible with my schedule. I will be asking her opinion in the future about window treatments.

I have a very small townhouse, which was still all white after many years of living here. I wanted to fix up the place, but had no idea where to start. Linda was recommended to me by a friend, and I am so glad I found her! The project started as a small kitchen remodel, but then I thought as long as I have Linda here, let’s expand this to the powder room and living area. So that’s what we did. Linda was wonderful to work with. She was very flexible, I work many hours and she worked around my schedule, which was greatly appreciated. I have worked with Linda on several decorating projects over the past five years. She has a talent for picking just the right colors and guiding the client gently to develop a cohesive design plan. She was instrumental in the decorating scheme for our condo overlooking the lake in Chicago. And recently she was also the guiding hand on several decorating projects for our Michigan home build. We were looking for help in refreshing a house we just bought, in terms of fresh painting, carpeting, installing hardwood floors and electrical work -- all within a relatively short timeframe of around 5 weeks. Linda designed our kitchen/dining room remodel. She advised us and helped us shop for new cabinets, new flooring, paint, and appliances. She was respectful of our budget. She shopped with when we asked and let us on our own if we wanted. She was very available whenever we had questions or concerns. She responded quickly and professionally. I hired Linda to help with paint color selection in a few rooms of my home. I showed her a few things that were a must stay and off we went. She quickly went to a palate I liked and large samples were held up on the walls at various locations until it all just worked. I won't even have time to paint the walls for another couple of weeks, but it doesn't matter the process was stress free. I am confident that it will work and equally confident I can call her back if a problem arises.

Linda, from LMR Designs helped us remodel our kitchen. Since it is a small kitchen, we needed to create extra space anywhere that we could. LInda helped us find extra space by extending our cabinets up to the ceiling, eliminating the soffits and also helping us to find little extra spaces that made a big difference to us, such as a toe kick drawer, spice cabinet, message center and one corner cabinet where we added a glass door and it seems to make the room look a little bigger. We took Linda's advice and added a microwave above the stove which freed up my small counter area. She helped us choose cabinets, quartz countertops, faucet, sink, hardware, lighting and backsplash. Every step of the way LInda offered suggestions and advice and was extremely patient while we asked all of our questions and made our decisions. Linda listened to our ideas and our wish list for what we wanted and worked very hard to incorporate those ideas into our new kitchen. LInda also suggested the built in cabinet around the refrigerator and at first we didn’t think we would like it. However, we followed Linda’s advice and it is actually one of our favorite parts of the kitchen because it adds a “custom” look to it. We are thrilled with our new kitchen and love everything about it!

Linda Navara at LMR Designs, LLC was our designer and worked with us on innumerable aspects of our new home. Her professionalism can be reflected in such details as furniture design, construction, coloration and placement. Details in wall colors, art work selection and placement were also influenced by Linda. Drapery design, brand, and color were a challenge when we attempted to go it on our own. Linda has a great eye for color. I have a bathroom in desperate need of an update. Linda came and helped me choose paint colors, tile, and flooring. She also helped me to choose window treatments when I was finally able to get rid of the dreaded "mini-blinds". The new window treatments look awesome. Linda helped me with two projects. One was decorating my husbands office at work. He wanted a very professional look and that is what Linda was able to do for him. He says he is still getting compliments on it. Also had Linda help us redo our curtains in the living room. Love the much updated look and friends have commented that it really looks nice. Remodel and redesign of kitchen, just what we wanted. Used contractors and materials recommended by Linda. It's just what we wanted. We can have more than one person work on the counters, which is a joy. Pantry changed out completely and refrigerator in a much better location. Cabinets designed perfectly.

We hired LMR Designs to help design our master bed and bathroom. Linda helped make our project a tremendous success! We love our new rooms and they look beautiful. Linda from LMR Designs was called to my home to help with a wall in my kitchen. We were thinking of a mural but couldn't come up with anything on our own. Linda had some ideas and brought in her artist who made a sketch that we fell in love with. When the artist started working on the wall, we tweaked things here and there and worked together as if we were always on the same page. The wall came out even better than we had imagined. I would recommend her work to anyone, even if you think you have a good eye for things.

Linda is great - she listens to what I want and always finds things that I would never have found on my own. She uses an iPad for her designs which is nice because you can visually see what the rooms will look like before you make any changes. She is great at picking out paint colors and I still get compliments to this day for the colors we chose and how well they transition from one room to the other.

Linda is a true professional that can quickly determine your style,even when you aren't sure what it is! I worked with her to redo my daughter's bedroom. Selling my old family home, let my ex-wife paint the walls a dark blue color in living room, dining room. Linda recommended Benjamin Moore Aura to cover it. Easy and even though recommended two coats, didn't need it. (We're ones to follow directions, so second coat put on.) Large room so thought we needed more paint, didn't listen. We painted the two rooms, the foyer, and up the stairs. Still have paint left. Since it's a neutral color we'll use in new home. She knows her business.

Linda is a creative and thoughtful designer! Her ideas and designs have an amazing attention to detail. She's done cute, age-appropriate yet still cool kids rooms, elegant and tasteful rooms throughout the home, and even gorgeous table displays for special events. She is an active participant with her chamber of commerce and has a lot of great connections she works with to help make your room perfect! I would highly recommend her for your next project!

Linda has redone my whole house from flooring to tile and paint. The great thing about Linda is that she listens to your wants and needs and then comes up with the ideas. I've had many friends come in and remark on how great the transformation is. I would highly recommend to anybody and everybody.

I redid most of the kitchen with new appliances, flooring, and colors. Also, changed the master bedroom with new colors, bedding, window treatments, lighting/lamps, and paint. Also, the hallway leading from the kitchen down through to the bedrooms. I had specialty painting for the hallway with a mural at the end and in the master bedroom - a color wash with gold fleck leaves splashed in various corners. Picking the paints and the scheme went very smoothly and was a huge success. For the bedding - I had been looking for over 2 years - and this was found very quickly and looks great. I am thoroughly satisfied and love the look. When the light reflects in the bedroom - the new paint job really shines! I need now to finish this project off with the hall bathroom to get redone and new countertops, tile in the kitchen. I will call upon this company when that time comes.
