Melissa Fitzgerald is fabulous!. We worked with her to redesign and rebuild the kitchen, family room, laundry room and master bathroom. Melissa patiently walked us through each step. She provided great options after carefully listening to our goals. Melissa took ownership of the project, spent a lot of time on site and stayed involved quarterbacking every step. Melissa was quick to remedy issues and coordinate corrections We could tell from the beginning that Melissa wanted us to LOVE our new kitchen - the EKD product coupled with her design eye and commitment to great service helped us achieve the result we were looking for - WE LOVE OUR NEW KITCHEN!

I worked with Marcus Otten to remodel our Boulder kitchen and the final project was outstanding. Marcus really listened to what we wanted in a kitchen and his design and vision went beyond our expectations. We really love to cook and entertain and our new kitchen is both function and beauty.

I have done two remodel projects with Mikal Otten at Exquisite Kitchen Design (ekd). The initial phase was in preparation of a kitchen/family room/conversation room remodel which would involve the entire first floor of our home. Phase 1 was everything except the kitchen area. The first project was so beautiful and exactly what I was hoping for, it was easy to move to the second and final phase, the kitchen. Our new kitchen flows into the family room, conversation area and eating space, physically and visually. The new kitchen it what I would call a true professional - working hard, but making it look easy! Our designer, Mikal, was really wonderful. He listened to our hopes for the finished space, included these in the final design, as well as adding some interesting and helpful finer points. This attention to the kitchen remodel is what makes our kitchen so easy to be in - entertain family and friends, cook holiday feasts, canning an exceptional harvest, it goes on and on. We can ramp up the activity or slow it down for a relaxing evening. The product recommendations which include cabinetry, hardware, countertops, appliances and lighting all combine to create the perfect kitchen and home for our family. I must also mention our Phase 1 and Phase 2 were three years apart. The style and flow from one project to the next is undetectable. The professionals at ekd had the foresight and expertise to begin our remodel and finish, years later, with all components blending and complimenting each other. My time spent with each professional at ekd was always a good experience. They were prompt with communications, always shared information, and everyone associated with them was polite, considerate and respectful our our home all during the planning and installation. I know perfection is difficult, however, it it not perfect, the team as ekd is not finished. I would and have recommended ekd to friends and family. Our experience has been delightful. We loved the process and the end result.
