Chelsea is extremely talented and easy to work with! Chelsea assisted my husband and I with picking paint colors for our newly purchased home. We would have been lost without Chelsea! She picked colors that worked with our furniture and taste. Our guests now walk into our home and immediately compliment our paint colors. Not only was Chelsea patient as she listened to my ideas, but she answered additional follow up questions after she arrived at our home. I would highly recommend Chelsea!

My master bath and small powder room where in need of a serious remodel. Naturally I didn't know where to start. After much research I hired Chelsea Pineda Interiors. Chelsea sat down with me and patiently listened to my wish list. After a few days she showed me the drawings and materials chosen and I have to say I was very pleased! Chelsea found a way to give me everything on my wish list and understood the look I was going after. She did an amazing job! Chelsea was highly accessible throughout the project. She has great eye for color, scale, furniture and accessories. Her sense of design and style is superb, refined, and exquisite! I have really enjoyed working with Chelsea. She has provided me with original ideas for everything from small details like the color or design of door handles to larger items like modifying how I would use different rooms in the house. I couldn't be happier. Chelsea has done a great job of balancing staying true to my taste while encouraging me to look in new directions that I had not considered. I had some ideas about how I wanted the house to look and I really wanted it to feel like my home, but I was having trouble actually seeing the vision through. Chelsea took my ideas and improved upon them while making sure that everything in the house felt cohesive and like the home I wanted. Chelsea was also really useful in helping me pick out the thousand little things you never think of when you decide to remodel. There were way more details involved than I anticipated in what in my mind was a simple remodel. I was definitely not making progress until I started working with Chelsea. She went with me to go pick out all the small details for the house, let me know which brands were good and which weren't, and which items were priced competitively and which were too expensive. Probably the biggest thing she did was to help me avoid what I thought were great ideas that in hindsight were complete mistakes. Within 10 minutes of seeing my house for the first time she came up with big changes that immediately made her invaluable. She had great ideas for how I could repurpose a number of rooms in my house. That night she sent me a revised floor plan of the house so that I could see how everything would look and it was a really big improvement over what I originally was thinking. In hindsight my ideas would never have worked, but I wasn’t able to see that until someone came up with a better alternative. A little while after working with Chelsea I noticed that I really trusted her ideas. She does a great job of listening to her clients to get a good sense of what they envision and then takes that vision, improves on it and sees the job through to completion. Chelsea is someone who really likes what she is doing and it shows. She was creative, fun and professional. Definitely recommend.

My husband and I hired Chelsea Pineda Interiors to renovate and remodel our kitchen, breakfast nook and laundry room. We have a Spanish revival home in Silver lake built in 1932. The kitchen had been updated since then by a previous owner but it was done poorly and inefficiently. We had a small kitchen with outdated, small, old cabinets and dingy flooring. The kitchen is one of our most used rooms in our home as we both love to cook. Our main goal was to create an updated kitchen that utilized the small space to the fullest without knocking down walls or changing the floor plan. We added a dishwasher, a new sink and faucet and replaced our tile counters with new Silestone countertops. We demolished the old cabinets and installed custom cabinetry. We replaced the flooring with beautiful cement tiles, we re painted and even added a unique, beautiful wallpaper to our breakfast nook making a spacious, bright, modern kitchen. Chelsea was very professional and knowledgeable of materials, prices and quality vendors. From the start she had a wonderful vision for our kitchen and followed through in every way. She guided us through the process with confidence allowing us to be stress free. We never could have imagined that our small kitchen could feel so big and bright! She drew floorplans and gave us samples of materials to select from. She was the project manager overseeing all the vendors. All were high quality and people that she had worked with in the past. She was always available to talk via phone and/or email and she answered all of our questions thoroughly and thoughtfully. She communicated directly with the vendors for us and managed our house while we were at work to ensure they stayed on target. We couldn't have been happier with the services Chelsea provided us. We were so impressed by our experience with Chelsea Pineda Interiors, we have just hired her again to design our living room. Now we are in the middle of this process. Chelsea drew a great floorplan to make our small living space open up. She selected new furniture, a sofa, chair, rug and is overseeing the installation of our tv above our fireplace. Again, she has envisioned something we could not on our own. She is a very talented designer and we highly recommend Chelsea Pineda Interiors for projects big and small.

My fiancée and I hired Chelsea to help us with a remodel and interior design project that we began ourselves and thought we could handle on our own, but that we quickly learned was too much to do alone. There were an overwhelming number of decisions to be made for each part of a remodel and we quickly discovered that there just isn't enough time in the world to research each decision. We had purchased a house that had a lot of walls separating the common living spaces (living room, dining room, and kitchen) and we wanted to turn it into an open floor plan that would also remain consistent with the style of architecture existing in the house. The kitchen was also seriously outdated so we decided to completely renovate it. Lastly, we remodeled the front of the house to incorporate an unused exterior patio into a larger entryway and dining room. We decided to bring on professional help and could not be happier to have worked with Chelsea! She took over our project after we'd already started, and reviewed all of the purchases we'd already made before she came on to ensure we were getting good deals from our vendors and to make sure she could keep us on track with our budget and all the things we wanted her to do. Chelsea also took one look at our plan for the house's exterior and saved us from doing a design that wouldn’t have complemented the house at all but that we felt was the best of our existing options due to the limited amount of space in our front yard. She came up with another design on the spot that was much more appealing, emailed us photographs of the design and showed us how it complemented not just our own home, but also the architecture that was already existing in our neighborhood and never even noticed. We couldn't be happier with how the new patio/entryway turned out. Chelsea also advised us on the layout of the rest of the house when she found out we had some concerns about it, and quickly helped us come up with a new plan that would re-purpose two of the rooms and make better use of the space in our master bedroom, even though it was outside of what we had hired her to do. In regards to style, she took a look at images of interiors we had already collected and figured out what we liked and didn’t like. With our style in mind, she consistently came up with options for us that we hadn’t considered and immediately ended up loving. For example, she found a beautiful terra cotta tile for the flooring in our new entryway that we would also be able to use in the kitchen, and that tied in to the color of our pre-existing fireplace tiles, bringing together the entire living space. In addition to tying in the tile color, I noticed she had an eye for detail when she pointed out that the tile shape was an element that we had in a lot of the pictures of interiors we’d shown her but that I hadn’t noticed myself. Chelsea also has an impressive amount of knowledge about all the options that were available to us, from what type of sink to install, to which appliance brands were good purchases, the style and material of our countertops, backsplash, flooring, etc. She came with us to our appointments to meet with vendors, a lot of whom she'd worked with in the past and has a working relationship with, helped narrow down the choices for us in-store and negotiated lower prices with the vendors. She also advised us on which elements of the kitchen remodel were worth paying more for and which ones had lower-priced alternatives that would do the job just as well. She knew from experience what to look out for when working with certain materials and communicated this knowledge with our contractor, which kept us/our contractor from having to learn by trial and error, saving us a lot of money. Finally, Chelsea helped us find the enjoyment in crafting our house into a space that reflected us. She has an upbeat attitude and sense of humor that made our meetings fun and also efficient. She answered all of our many, many questions very patiently throughout the whole process, and we’ve been impressed by her ability to be in constant communication the entire time. Honestly, we rarely wait even an hour before hearing back from her with an answer to the hundredth question we've emailed her that day. I really can’t recommend hiring Chelsea highly enough.
