The dormer in this photo above the picture is indeed a shed dormer, and was used to create additional height in the living room area.

These baskets were part of the custom cabinetry collection that was selected to renovate this kitchen. They are very unique baskets, and have such a great look!

Thanks Andrea, the exterior of the home has more of a Tudor style, but I can certainly see how this photo evokes thoughts of the Colonial style.

I've looked through the files for this project but was unable to locate the details regarding the wood species that was used to trim the doors and other areas. The designer for this project, Vince Weber, shared that the trim was not oak, but did not recall the exact species that was used. In this case, we were adding on to a very old home and the woodwork needed to match the rest of the home, but I am unable to locate the details on exactly what wood species was used here in order to match the existing trim in the rest of the home.

Thanks for the compliment. I have looked through our files and unfortunately I have not been able to find the details regarding the shingle and clapboard exposure nor the details on the type of Hardie that was used for this home. I'm so sorry that I was unable to locate the answers to your question, and wish you the best for your home's renovation.

Thanks for the compliment, we're glad you like how the renovation turned out! The siding on this home is James Hardie, including the shingle style application on the upper most portion of the house. Good luck on your new home!

The backsplash tile in this kitchen is made up of several different tiles that work together to create this look, and they are primarily: Crossville Savoy Beadboard in Gloss White Color, and Sonoma Stellar Series in Willow Color.

Unfortunately we do not have details regarding the source of the lighting for this project readily available, but our designers typically find unique pieces like these through local boutique lighting shops. Sorry I don't have more details to share, good luck in your search!

The color on the walls is part of the Restoration Hardware Silver Sage collection. While I do not have the exact details on the particular shade within this collection that was used, I would suspect that it is probably Light Silver Sage. http://www.restorationhardware.com/catalog/product/product.jsp?productId=prod1161246

Unfortunately, my search through this project's files have not provided any details regarding the source of these particular lights. I know that we typically use local boutique lighting companies to find unique pieces such as these, so perhaps that would be a good place to begin your search. So sorry we don't have more details to share on the lighting. Good luck for a successful renovation.

Glad your client likes the kitchen. Yes, we did use bull nose tile around the edge of the niche. I've attached a close up of the photo, hopefully this will be a bit easier to see how this was applied.

These light fixtures were originally purchased from Lightology, however they may no longer be available from that supplier. Several other people have previously asked about these fixtures as well, and another Houzzer suggested checking Gracious Home or as Luan suggested, Juliska may have something similar. Good luck!

Great question! The oven is well insulated, and should not be heating up the adjoining cabinetry. The oils and spices in a configuration such as this should have no problems being placed near the range.
