I would highly recommend Point One Architects for any size project! I am a general contractor that has worked on projects designed by Point One Architects for the past 15 years. Their clients are always impressed with how well they listen and how they are able to incorporate even the smallest ideas into the design. As a contractor I am impressed with how Point One is able to convey their design ideas on paper making construction very straight-forward. They have a great working relationship with many builders and they work hard to create a team approach to all projects resulting in a stress free environment for their clients! Also, their expertise in dealing with local zoning and coastal regulations is second to none! This is an essential first step to the many projects they do along the coast. We engaged Point One for two remodeling projects - a total remodeling of a beach house (completed in 2016) and a guest house on the same property (currently under construction). Each project cost over $100,000. The entire design team and staff are quite professional and helpful. They were very knowledgable and helped us with permitting problems. Moreover, they considered the impact of their design on outdoor aesthetics. They worked extremely well with our contractor and kitchen designer and were available to consult with them if issues arose during construction. I highly recommend them.

We purchased a home that had been in our family for over 5 decades. It was in dire need of a complete renovation. We contacted Point One Architects (POA) to work with an architect. They assigned Sabrina Foulke and Katie Scanlon, two of the finest and most skilled professionals we have ever had the honor to work with. Sabrina, the lead architect, has been with us throughout the entire project and Katie was a tremendous help during the early planning phases. We described what we wanted to do and Sabrina took it from there and creatively translated our vision into a design plan that has beautifully come to life! Sabrina's attention to detail is truly second to none! She is a consummate professional who listens, is tremendously creative, offers outstanding suggestions, and has an excellent network of general contractors and vendors. We never could have gotten through the town approval process without the skillful help of Sabrina and Katie! As we live out of state, Sabrina has worked closely with the amazing general contractor that was selected, Tiezzi Construction, LLC, to closely and continuously monitor the project. Sabrina is our partner and it is rare today to find someone who cares as much about the success of the project as the owners! Sabrina consistently meets deadlines and is an outstanding communicator, listener, and problem solver! Going to POA and working with Sabrina and Katie on our dream house has been one of the best decisions of our lives! They have earned our absolute highest rating and full recommendation!!!

Point One created Architectural drawings for new home construction. We were very pleased with the design and they incorporated all of our ideas into the final design. They were very knowledgeable regarding building and construction in flood zones and made many recommendations based on that knowledge. They also helped us as we navigated the zoning process. Highly recommend them if you need start to finish for new construction or major renovation. In addition they met our deadline and budget.

Point One's expertise and smart guidance, created silver linings to all the obstacles and problems we encountered in our major remodel--and there were plenty. We gutted the entire first floor, added a screened porch and enlarged the deck. We discovered serious structural integrity issues and frustrating compliance challenges. They are the complete package for a complex project. Their team really does listen to the homeowners and truly understands their needs and desires. We contracted with Point One Architects to provide a complete renovation to one of our bank branches. In addition to brightening and updating the interior of the building, we asked that the building be more 'visible' to the street as it sets back. The professionals at Point One were sensitive to our work environment needs, and were able to integrate those needs with a fresh look that included light wood, bank theme colors, and useable space. They also crafted a canopy that stretched to the sidewalk, which enhanced visibility to passersby. The staff were highly sensitive to our needs, provided a wealth of options within our budget, and worked extremely well with the contractor. I highly recommend them for either residential or commercial projects.

I have continued to work with Sabrina from this firm over an extended period of time right into the present. We design the sections of my house and then I implement each section of the renovation over time. I do this because I live on this property only half the year and that makes doing everything at once problematic as welll as the fact that I live in the project as it moves along. Sabrina was always available, never tired of my 1001 questions, helped secure resources to implement some of the aspects of the project that flummued the builder, while creating imaginative design solutions. I have worked as an interior designer with many of my clients architects over my career and though this firm was never one of them it is the only one I would hire for my own house. The competence of the firm is coupled with an openmindedness and a willingness to be collaberative that is difficult to find. And that collaboration allowed me to achieve a reflection of ME the OWNER rather than a FIRM STYLE! If you want a good experience and an outstanding result hire POINT ONE!

What a wonderful group of professionals! Our primary architect was Sabrina Foulke, who created an aesthetically beautiful and functional design in a very tight space. She is incredibly knowledgeable about all details of design and construction and has met all deadlines. She was very mindful to incorporate our needs into the final design and has carefully followed the process as the construction has proceeded. I believe the final cost of this project will be below budget, something that rarely occurs! We now consider Sabrina a friend who will certainly design our next project. If you want quality architects with creative, beautiful designs, we could not suggest a better firm!
