Complete Kitchen Renovation- Switch Modern is a fantastic company to work with! It is a luxury business where the owners Roy and Doug, and their architect Chris make you feel like a million bucks! They understand design and customer service and really just make it easy to design and complete a project. They don't expect you to come with all of the ideas. They have been doing luxury modern kitchens for so long that they really have the process down. Even if you do come to the table with ideas, they are true design professionals and will work with you to make sure that is the best design for your space and help you refine it. They will also come with additional ideas that you have never thought of and talk you through those so that everyone can be sure that you get the best design for your money. When I looked pictures of past projects, every single one no matter the size looked magazine perfect, and that is what I wanted. That is what I now have! We decided to completely renovate our kitchen and we wanted to go with an italian brand because of the modern styling and quality. Switch is a Poliform and Varenna dealer. I met Roy one day when I walked in Switch on a whim. We sat and talked and talked in one of the kitchens. He told me about the brand, and what was possible and gave me an idea of price. I liked him as a person, and I loved the product. I brought my husband back a few days later to look at the product and to meet Roy and Doug. We gave them images and dimensions of our kitchen as well as a few requirements- color, and finishes- stainless steel and white lacquer. We met with Roy and Chris for the initial design meeting where they presented 3 design concepts which ware all very different. We picked one, and set up another meeting to dive into the functionality. By that meeting the layout was complete and we needed to tweak the functionality of drawer inserts. It took 3 or 4 meetings for our kitchen design to be completed and placed on order. You can also order appliances through them. The kitchen was on time, delivered and installed on the specified dates. They take every aspect of design to delivery very seriously and get the job done. Everyone said our kitchen would be late - everything with Switch was on time and professional. Their installer Dean is phenomenal! He is very careful, did not rush, and did an amazing job! I absolutely love Switch Modern and I hope to do more work with them in the future. Their selection of modern furniture and lighting is amazing and it is really hard to get out of there without spending money. Between the Alessi impulse items and larger pieces- it is amazing! Every morning I walk downstairs and I cannot believe this is my kitchen. it is incredible! I would highly recommend them to anyone!

As a design professional I find Switch Modern's online store, switchmodern.com, a virtual catalog of the most cutting edge furnishings. This resource saves me time and money when sourcing for client projects. Another bonus is having owner Roy Otwell living and working here in NYC. Whether regarding kitchens or sofas, he is always available to answer questions, meet with clients, or to assist with installation. I have also been able to shop the Atlanta showroom and it is a pleasure working with the entire team. I strongly recommend Switch Modern. By the way, their accessory collection fills the void left after the closing of Moss!

Great team, it has been a pleasure working with Switch Modern, the service was impeccable on time and on budget. After seeing some of their work, I hired Switch to design a complete renovation of my apartment. The Switch team developed a terrific design and provided (through Poliform) the kitchen cabinets, bathroom cabinet and bedroom closets. They went beyond the call of duty by guiding me through the entire process. Their work was excellent and the entire team was not only professional but also a source of comfort during a stressful process. Their aesthetic is wonderful and attended to every detail.

I was fortunate enough to find switch modern and their incredibly knowledgeable staff when I was doing a gut renovation of a larger apartment in an older classic building. The switch modern design team understood my goal of having a sleek modern kitchen fit into a classic architecture and decor of the space. Their design was visionary and pragmatic balancing form function and economics! (Unusual in my experience of renovating multiple properties to find a designer that recognizes ALL of these combined make a good design). My satisfaction led me to have them help with lighting and furniture selections from their wonderful portfolio of furniture lighting and accessories. They are able to meet a clients needs from "starter modern" that would work well in a more traditional home to truly cutting edge museum quality pieces. The price point runs the gamut from affordable to luxe for a truly special object. I've now recommended switch modern to at least five friends who have all had very different project and design/decor needs and they have all been extremely happy. I unfortunately have moved from Atlanta to new York (where I used switch modern on another great project!) So no longer can pop into their beautiful showroom and store for inspiration but now use their website for gifts and personal purchases.

Have worked couple of times with Switch Modern on two different residential projects One was for the custom orders of sofas. The other one was for a custom order of build-ins for a Dressing Room, a Bathroom and a Kitchen. In either cases Switch Modern provided me and my clients with the most professional services: Accurate estimates, efficient with the follow up of the orders they delivered on time and within the pre-established budgets all the goods that were of the best quality. In the future I will work with them again and I am pleased to highly recommend them.

If you are looking for creative design hire this company.! They can do anything with challenging spaces. Additionally, their clean line approach and quality products speak for themselves. Swith completely redisigned the space for my kitchen and provided all the products. Their project management skills are excellent and they stayed with the project from beginning to end.
