Rusted Maple Carpentry and Design

Adam built us the most beautiful dining room table out of a slab of bowling alley he salvaged and restored. He has an incredible attention to detail and refinished the wood to showcase the grain and natural wood features. He was very skilled with wrapping the table in metal and added artistic elements that fit within the industrial, steampunk look we were trying to achieve. I would highly recommend working with Adam! When I saw a custom computer desk for sale by Adam I had to have it. After some careful consideration on other options in the market it was a no brainer. The detail and sturdy construction of my computer desk is unreal. There was little time available in my busy work and parenting schedule to pick up this piece of magic maple. Following a number of failed attempts to retrieve my item I finally asked if he could deliver. Though it was completely out of his way and beyond inconvenient for him... He delivered for me. I came home to find it sitting on my front step Gleaming in the sunlight. It was beautiful upon close inspection. His construction method and attention to detail was spectacular. Being a graphic artist and designer for many years I have an eye for imperfections and mistakes. My own excluded. To the point. His work was flawless. It was completely expected given his work ethic and philosophical outlook on each project. Given his talents I wouldn't expect to see any items that could hold a candle to his rustic work. Simply put... Beautiful work from a beautiful human being.

I am so pleased to have worked with Rusted Maple. I had a concept for my bathroom renovation and Adam not only ran with it, but elevated the pieces by bringing his design sense and experience to the table. He truly is a craftsman and artisan, and was a joy to work with. He created a white washed, barn board, shaker frame, custom tub front for my alcove tub, and did a fantastic job matching a gorgeous oversized shaker frame mirror for above my vanity. His pleasant demeanour, attention to detail, eye for design, and the care he took through installation gave me a great sense of trust throughout the whole process. My bathroom is now the crown jewel of my house, in no small part due to the work of Rusted Maple.

Adam's work is exceptional. He takes great pride in his work and doesn't cut any corners. He was able to capture my vision and create something more incredible than I could ever imagine. My custom desk and wall unit made of reclaimed wood and pipe, vintage singer sewing machine light fixer, reclaimed barn wood shoe island, vintage door handle hooks, bookshelf and desk light are all pieces of art. YES... I loved his work so much I kept hiring him, over and over again!! Each piece is a piece of art, a focal points in every room and not only are stunning to look at, but each of them has been crafted to meet my needs with functional details considered the entire time. I look forward to many more projects with Rusted Maple and Adam. I can't say enough good things about him and his work.

Adam designed and made my dream desk. I had a specific, yet obscure, vision of what I wanted and Adam took the time to understand it. His patience and attention, along with his outstanding artistry and craftsmanship, resulted in my most favourite piece of furniture and art. I look forward to working with Adam many more times!
