Simply put, Steve DeWitt designs and builds spectacular homes. I've had the privilege of working with Steven for many years on dozens of custom homes. Our company, Berlin Flooring, has installed everything from standard strip red oak hardwood flooring up to custom, wide plank, hand-scraped hardwood floors in his homes. I'm always impressed with Steve's design ideas and building knowledge. He takes homes from the architectural design phase all the way to final building completion. His homes are true "retreats", especially those with courtyards and a Mediterranean feel. Steve is friendly and patient with his customers and treats all sub-contractors working for him with respect. We worked with Steve DeWitt to design and build our fully custom home. The overall effort spread over 8 years due demands and ups and downs in my business. Steve served as the architect and general contractor over the entire period and we are very pleased with the results. Steve is such an OUTSTANDING architect and builder. You can see it from his work. He is so talented, so personable and so caring about you and your project. Legitimately. His rare skills of being both an architect and builder come in very handy throughout the design and build process and it's so seamless that it's a wonder that there are not more companies like his. We trusted Steve to architecturally design and then build our home which turned into one of the most energy efficient in the state! I have knows Steven for 14 years and cannot say enough about his knowledge and integrity.
