Soundesign Group Architects, PLLC

We worked with soundesigngroup on a comprehensive remodel of our home. We found them, and Dan Malone in particular, competent, creative and professional in every respect. For us, a collaborative approach worked best and soundesigngroup was able to provide a complete range of services including design, modeling, coordinating engineering services, recommending and introducing us to potential contractors and interior design consultation. Especially helpful was their adaptability in working with our needs and budget constraints. Overall, our experience with soundesigngroup was extremely positive and we recommend them highly and without reservation.

Working with Soundesign Group was a terrific experience throughout the design and building process. We wanted a modern design with lots of glass and high ceilings to take in the incredible views of Puget Sound. Todd and Eric delivered a house plan beyond our expectations including many innovative structural features. We worked well together and they appreciated the fact I wanted to be very involved in the project. They were easy to communicate with and were available in person for timely project reviews. Stacy Whiting provided interior design options we just loved—in particular, the color palette throughout the house and the unique tiles in the kitchen, baths, and laundry room. During the building phase, Eric worked seamlessly with our builder, McClure Custom Homes, and we had frequent on-site meetings of all hands to discuss building progress. These meetings were a lot of fun to watch as architects and builders combined their expertise to solve challenges. Our new house is now finished and we love living in it. I have the highest regard for Soundesign Group as a full-service architecture and interior design team.

I was referred to Sounddesign Group by a friend and selected them after interviewing 3 architects. After the initial referral, I was attracted to SDG because of the variety of home design styles shown on their website. I didn't want my project to be pigeonholed as a "type". I wanted my design professional to be open-minded and easy to work with, and I definitely found that in Eric Terry. He is one of the most easy-going people I have ever worked with, but at the same time he gets things done. The process was simple and fun, and we got everything we wanted even though some of it required both Eric and our builder to think outside the box. It turned out to be a bit of a complicated project, but you never would have known it from Eric's attitude. His firm took everything in stride. We also utilized Sounddesign's interior design specialist, Kirsten, for some interior help. She was similarly delightful and easy to work with, even within my budget constraints and my desire to do most things on my own. The finished project is beautiful, and we had a great time during the design and build process. I cannot recommend these folks highly enough.
