    Actually, Useless Bay is a part the of Puget Sound. It is located in Island County near the southern end of Whidbey Island in the state of Washington....I see how that tag could be confusing!

    Thanks for the explanation...very funny. I lived in the SF Bay Area for many years and Bay Shores is an area there, so I read it entirely differently. Glad that "useless" is not a modern home design!
