About Us

The Norwood Group was started in 2004 by Todd Vaughan after gaining a wide range of experience in both the Commercial & Residential fields. Todd previously worked for a few prominent builders and developers in the Atlanta market. They include: Holder Construction Company, The Opus Group, John Wieland Homes & Neighborhoods and Wieland Commercial Group. Todd is a native of Atlanta, GA and graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Construction and a minor in Development from Southern Polytechnic State University in Marietta, GA. Todd has a wide exposure to both Commercial and Residential Projects. Todd has personally built over 100 homes in the Atlanta market. Todd is a 3rd Generation builder in his family. The Norwood Group has been recognized by the Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association for our outstanding quality by awarding us several Professionalism awards. We worked with Todd Vaughan with the Norwood Group on this project and both the client and myself were extremely satisfied with the outcome of the construction of the home. With this project being an hour away from his office, you would not have known it. His endless pressence on the job and attention to the details and coordination made it a pleasure to complete this project together. His devotion to deliver this project on time was impressive. Great job!

Todd was extremely easy to work with while building our home. His attention to detail and patience was very impressive as well. It is evident that he takes pride in his job and the end result. Woody did an excellent job coming up with the plans for our home and listened very carefully to exactly what we wanted and needed along the way. We highly recommend Todd and Woody for your architectural, renovation, or home-building needs.

Working with the Norwood group building our custom home was a complete pleasure. Todd was always professional and his knowledge helping us step by step through the building process was invaluable. I would definately use and recommend the Norwood Group for future projects.

The Norwood Group supplied architectural and construction services for an 2009/2010 extension to our house , involving demolition of an existing garage and carport and addition of a three-car basement garage with guest suites and service rooms above.. Woody and Todd Vaughn worked closely with us during the planning and construction phases of the project, and were very responsive to our requests and suggestions. The quality of the construction was excellent. The project took five months to complete, rather than the four predicted, but this was mostly due to inclement weather delaying progress. Thanks to the close cooperation with Norwood the final cost was under the original amount estimated, and we are very pleased with the result.

I had a problem with a leak over the sliding glass door in the courtyard. This was repaired and I have not had any more problems. . Also, the outside of my house had to be repainted using 5 different shades of paint. This was done in a superb manner. Everything was done nicely. The houses are only 44" apart in this subdivision and so you had to be very careful of the other property. It was all done in a professional manner with no problems. I would recommend The Norwood Group to anyone without any reservations.
