It was an actual pleasure working with Iraj and Transitions Construction. I recommend them highly! I hired them for a bathroom renovation to replace all tile (floor and wall), create a shower niche, re-glaze the tub, install new shower doors, and paint. I am thrilled with how the bathroom came out in the end. Iraj runs his business with a high level of integrity and defies all contractor stereotypes. He went above and beyond to ensure that I was happy with the final result, and his attention to detail is unparalleled. Along the way, if I was unhappy with the way a tile was aligned, for example, he would keep his team there late to re-do the work and to remain respectful and mindful of the timelines. His team was always on time. On time! I could count on them to show up when they said they would, and they were respectful of my home and environment – leaving it even nicer than it was before. For example, the hall wall leading into the bathroom got a little scuffed during the demolition. They not only repainted the portion that had been scuffed, but also took the time to patch a few chips that were unrelated to their work and to touch up a patch around the fuse box that had been damaged by a previous contractor. There were no hidden surprises in the estimates, and Iraj worked diligently to stay on budget and on time. He handled feedback gracefully and is such a genuinely kind person that what should have been a painful process (given my past experience with renovations and contractors) ended up being relatively painless. And, his thoughtful touches (replacing my existing light switch covers so they would match better, for example, and changing out my chipped door threshold for a nicer one) exceeded my expectations. Working with Transitions Construction was a hugely refreshing change from my past renovations experience. I highly recommend Iraj and will be sure to call him again for whatever project I decide to do next! Before and after pictures are attached.
