I have worked on several projects as the interior designer in tandem with Upscale Construction from partial remodels to full scale overhauls. Their attention to detail and upfront approach to cost, scope, and timeline sets them apart from the rest. Their entire team is professional and a joy to work with.

Over the past few years we’ve completed close to a half dozen projects with Upscale. They have large crews and bring a fairly unique ability to self-perform a lot of the work on a project if it adds value and works with the schedule. This is a builder with a very mature back office and management systems, which can support projects to keep things on budget and on schedule. They are great collaborators, and have the experience to stay ahead of problems before they happen. Their teams have an eye for detail, and take pride in delivering a beautiful product. We would highly recommend this builder.

Upscale Construction was our contractor for a major house remodel in San Francisco, which included excavating below our house to create a basement floor, expanding the overall footprint of each of the 3 floors and all the attending work to ensure structural soundness, code compliance, and design achievement . They touched every single room in the house. Their incredible attention to detail, budget sensitivity and honesty, timelines and workmanship are outstanding and we couldn't be happier with the result. Their crew is hard-working and diligent and they make sure the end result is the house you envisioned, if not better. What's more, they are professional in ways that do not show up in the house, but are significant -- for instance, providing regular communication to adjacent neighbors (to ensure continued good relations) and maintaining a clean and safe site for your neighbors.

Arterra has been working with Upscale on a high end residential project in Healdsburg. Their attention to detail, communication with the design team and problem solving has been top notch. Our designs have been in good hands and we look forward to working with them on future projects.

Upscale, with the help from an excellent designer - Navarra Design, redesigned our guest bedroom and bath. This included new hardwood floors, custom cabinets, recessed lighting, built in bookshelves, new plumbing/fixtures and ceramic/glass tile and stone laying. The project was completed in a timely fashion and their communication was second to none. Would highly recommend Brad and the crew to anyone!
