Desperately need your help Houzzers. I just completed a redo on my porch and now the landscaping needs help! I've begun ripping out the old scrubby hedges but I'm not sure what to plant. I live outside of Chicago and I'm thinking perrenials, roses and some boxwoods? its about a 15'x30' space, West facing with full hot, afternoon sun :-( This is the front entrance of the house but it really isn't used (long story) so I don't want to sink a ton of $ into it. I'm slowly going to install a flagstone walkway and pad in front of the stairs to finish it off. thanks for all the advice - I really appreciate it the help!
