Surefit?

A number of years ago, I bought fabric and found a seamstress who came to the house and fitted/pinned the fabric to the chairs. She took them home and a week or so later I had perfectly fitted slipcovers. To save money, you could get fabric on a closeout or remnant. You could do the fronts and backs in different fabrics. Check on Craigslist for someone to sew them. Good luck!

I once wanted to cover my cane seated bistro chairs. I purchased Surefit, turned them inside out and pinned to shape. With my very basic sewing machine skills I stitched following my pin line. Came out okay for as long as I wanted them.
