Has anyone come across any family room ideas that include a kids play area? I'd like to include a space in my family room just for the kids to play in without having to sacrifice design. I'm teetering with the idea of a chalkboard wall but I feel this would encourage a 2 yr old to write outside the area! I have a large family room with a wood burning fire place off of an east in kitchen. The family room has a good amount of space in front of the back stair case that I could use for the kids play area. Family room is 20x17 and the space I'd like to devote to kids is 9x6. Any help would be great. Thanks!
