I have uba tuba and white cabinets. This is my back splash. I just took it and it is night. Our floors are similar to backsplash but larger and lighter. I love it. I have had it this way for 9 years and continue to love it. We have white by Dunn Edwards and the color of the kitchen is golden gate by Dunn Edwards. Reds, Gray, blues grays and greens would go also. The glass subway tile is in now and beautiful. I think I would choose that if I chose today.

I think unless you have a huge kitchen the dark granite on white cabinets is too harsh a contrast. I would use a creamy granite.
