If you had 300mm at the end - then 600mm sink bowls then 1700mm prep space the 600mm hob / cooker that leaves 300mm - now in some countries this would be fine in others more space might be required the other side of the cooker - USA is 305mm one side and minimum of 381mm the other side - which country are you in ?

You can not be in the US, we would not put our sink and cooktops on a bench ;))

I always try to have good separation between the sink and the cooktop so if this counter is 3.5 m long you should be able to achieve that, when designing your own kitchen just think very hard about how it functions. If 2 of you are cooking together alot then make sure you are not constantly in each others way The first pic is a very bad placement of stove and sink you always want space to each side of all your appliances the second pic is a much better layout.
