Liking the focus on safety, even for younger people (especially clumsy folk like myself, or those in poor health), but it's especially good for older people.

Who was the service you used for the new shower? As a handicapped person, I can really use great safety design in a very small space (looking to convert a half bath to a full with a shower).

Barrierf free bathrooms are perfect for ageing in place.......but the contract labor can miss the point...find an occupational therapist to consult on the design process.

To answer some of your questions, the tile is custom and was sourced from United tile in Portland. The customer purchased the stool, but we believe it was from Bed Bath and Beyond. The interior dimensions of the shower are 39x39, and yes, that is the actual shower space. We were limited by the window and the door during the remodel, but curbless showers do not need a large drain in every case.
