I am renovating a kitchen for which I've chosen polished chrome cabinet hardware. The house is a 1967 center hall colonial in CT. I have some ORB drapery hardware and lighting accents elsewhere in the house. I am having the toughest time figuring out which door knob to purchase. I'm wondering about an ORB rosette with a glass ball or a black rosette and knob. And, of course, do I go with polished chrome metal throughout? And I'm trying to keep the design of the home youthful. I have 3 young kids. My style is best described as transitional.
