We are adding two windows above our mantle/fireplace in our new home. The wall to the right of the mantle is 57 inches and the wall to the left of the mantle is 52 inches. We are going to build the same size windows and frames for symmetry purposes. Should we center the windows in the middle of each wall or center the windows proportionally around the mantle so that there is more empty wall on the right side? I'm not an architect so any suggestions will help. Thanks.
