This is the white paint. That's exciting about your order! I'm sure whatever you choose will be lovely. : )

These are the white? Any accent glaze on them? What is the name of the cabinet panel? Thank you. We are trying to decide between White and Classic White as well and don't know which is the way to go.

hgreisch - That is very exciting! Let us know how your remodel goes. We love to see remodel stories.

Yes, these are "White" not "Classic White". The door style shown here looks like the Chapel Hill Panel cabinet door style in inset. This door style is also available in overlay. Here is a close up of this door style... Mandi @ Dura

We are actually building a new home so not a remodel. Since you are the expert, do you see more customers choose classic white or white? I am worried the classic white will be too creamy but on the flip side I'm afraid the white will be too stark. Any opinions/thoughts?

They are both popular choices. I would take a look at the two colors in your space to see how they look in the lighting of your new home. Just like wall paint, these colors can look different depending on the lighting in the room. Otherwise your designer who is familiar with your space may be able to give their preference.

Also, once you've seen Classic White in a full kitchen, I don't think you'll find it to creamy. I would call it a "softer white". A slightly toned down version of "White". If you have a lot of natural light in the space I'd personally go with Classic White. If there is some or little natural light I'd go with White to brighten up my space. I hope this helps. Thank you very much Mandi for the photos and opinions. We will have a fairly large kitchen/great room space with white cabinets in both the kitchen and built in cabinets in the great room which will also be white. We will have 9 ft ceilings in kitchen and. 12 ft ceilings in great room with lots of natural light so I think you have made my decision clear to go with the classic white. We don't know exactly how much sunlight we will get based on our exposure and it being a new home but I'm hopeful it will be enough and since we aren't trying to make the space look larger I think the softer white is better.

One additional question, the entertainment center photo above said it was classic white however when I went to the link it said it was antique white with a pewter finish, is that accurate or was it classic white?

I am glad I was able to help. I just looked at my files and looks like that is Antique White with Pewter Accent. Thank you for catching that! I'll make sure that project get's tagged correctly. Keep us posted on your project. We'd love to see how it turns out. Let us know if you have any other questions. Have a great weekend! Mandi @ Dura

Ashley and Hgreisch, did you end up liking your choice in "Classic White"? I am agonizing over the decision between "white" and "classic white" also and wondering how it turned out for you?:)

I love the classic white. I do have lots of natural light in my kitchen and I think that helps to make them look more white than cream. They aren't a stark white which I like. I don't think anyone else would notice they are a bit creamier in color but describing them as a "soft" white is how I'd say it. Here are a couple pics so you can see them in a "real" kitchen.

@hgreisch, Your kitchen is beautiful! Thank you for sending me the pics. What door style did you use? Also, what color did you do the island in? Is it in black or?? I love the soft white :)

Thank you April! The door style is homestead panel. Our island is cherry wood in peppercorn stain. It's kind of a dark brown/gray color, definitely not black but very dark.

haha. That is the exact color I was thinking about doing my island in. Ok...I have to ask and go deeper now:) ..what color paint on the walls did you use that blended so nicely with your classic white cabinets?

We used creamy white (7012) by Sherwin Williams on our walls/ceilings and trim (woodwork). It blends very nicely but doesn't look identical since the texture/materials are different on walls than cabinets but it goes nicely together as that was my concern with white walls (at least to start) and white cabinets and having it be so different. Good luck, sounds like we have similar tastes!
