"Katie wanted to do something interesting in their compact powder room and saw an opportunity to inject a little fun without making a huge commitment. She ordered Scrabble tiles from China and installed them herself. “I was met with a lot of questions and confusion from our project managers and trades, but in the end, everyone loved it!"

There are approximately 7,000 Scrabble tiles on the floor, each individually laid by Katie. The actual installation of the tiles took two full days to complete. “I had the entire floor designed beforehand, and my husband and I came up with approximately 60 words that are hidden in the floor,” she says. The words include cities they have lived in, family members’ names and inside
    jokes."

The article says the tiles came from China. Will you please provide website or Company info so we can order these also. Thanks !! I think flat bright colored Lego blocks would be awesome too !! Of course with several coats of clear sealant.

@brendasheath you can buy them from Amazon up to 500 pcs counting as 1 order. I checked myself and you could easily get 7000 pcs from there (assuming you'd need as much as she used, my bathroom is smaller so I didn't need that many). Piece sizes are 18mm x 20mm. I haven't converted that to inches yet but if you're serious, hope this helps!
