I see this as being a lovely Spanish courtyard, but that may not be your style. The Modern alternative can be achieved with your choices of colors for concrete and walls and types of accessories you select will influence the look. Either way, move table to somewhere more intimate and off to the side, etc. add candles and lanterns on table. Comfy outdoor furniture and a propane fireplace. Lots of large pots, more greenery. I believe you can paint concrete and if you go on the internet there may be help on how to add a pattern for a Spanish feel and solid color for the modern.
