paint advice

We have multi color brick home. Picking paint colors for trim. A metal awning will be added over front door. Also, steps will be Pennsylvania slate. We had painter do a sample of a darker gray on inside of window trim. Wondering if this is too busy with multi color brick? Considering just doing all lighter color (Revere Pewter-BM). Also, any suggestions for door color (stain a wood color or paint)?

The darker gray sample looks great. The brick is beautiful and would be enhanced with that trim.

Dark gray would look good. Be sure it's a true gray, not green or blue. Black trim, shown as examples in the pics, also looks great with red brick, but I think you'd needed to change the white rain gutters and fascia.

I think I would do the inside portion of the window and still leave the outside casing white for the contrast. If anything, paint out those gutter downspouts. They do not need to be accented but should go away.

Any suggestions for door? It's very scratched up so we are sanding it and can't decide whether to restain (like it is) or paint it (paint stain) the dark gray?

Really like sample pics provided by Mick! Painting the door would finish the look beautifully, I think.

Depends on the trim color, but I'd paint the door glossy black if you're going gray or black on the trim. What about the mismatched lights? Are you in the process of changing them?

Yes, we are waiting for second light to come in. It was hung just to see how awning will go over door, spacing.
