That wall needs large, great color and texture, fabric, stretched canvas or 3 dimensional character like metal objects - Hudson bay blanket, hooked rug/wall hanging, quilt in dark tones, beautiful tree branches. If a mirror be sure to choose a frame that is substantial looking - maybe metal as you already have lots of wood. A throw and a couple of pillows in a natural woven texture would also add some color.
