From our supplier it was referred to as Marmara Marble. Different suppliers will have their own names. It is a naturally occurring marble. The install was relatively easy except the tiles were relatively large, requiring the walls to be gauged flat. We did not attempt to line anything up, just let tile installer do his thing. Good luck. The marble is equator marble. Bayrock marble and granite sells it in New Jersey.
