I recently moved into a duet and have made a few changes to open up floor space. I removed the fireplace and shelving and bumped the wall back. I moved the entertainment center to the area previously occupied by the fireplace. My next project is to install crown molding and window casings and purchase more appropriately sized furniture. The ceiling height in the living room area is 9.5 ft. The kitchen/dining area height is 8 ft. I need input on the following:
How wide should the casings be around the windows and slider?
What size crown molding should I install?
What other decorating ideas do you have for this space?
