Can't see any connection to anything in the space to the rug, are you doing drapery? Don't lik the 2 lamps that don't really relate to each other and the end table with the wjite lamp is way too small

It is a very nice rug. However I feel that it does not match your space. The rug seems more modern and your space seems just like a place to hang out with no particular style. I think a simple casual rig would go better with the vibe of your space.

The rug is nice, but seems like in order to use that rug everything else should be updated. There is no consistency or flow between everything in the room. There's no particular style.

I don't think the rug matches the color family...change the rug or change the furniture...? just my two cents!

I'm struggling to see any connection between even two items in this room. The rug is lovely and would be a good starting point to update the room but you need to define your style/look before buying/changing anything else.
